IT HAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE OUR OPTION TO DUE BUISNESS WITH WHOM WE CHOOSE IN THIS CASE WE CHOOSE NOT TO CONTINUE OUR BUISNESS RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS PAST CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE CUSTOMER HAS HANDLED IT FROM THE START IN A DEMANDING MANNER AS IF WE ARE OBLIGATED 10 YEARS LATER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SITUATION ALSO FILEING A CLAIM WITH THE BBB AND MISREPERSENTING THE FACTS IN ATTEMPT TO CAST A SHADOW ON OUR BUISNESS AND A QUESTION ON OUR PROFESSIONALISM THIS CUSTOMER CAN CALL SOME ONE ELSE AND PAY THEM TO RENDER SERVICES WE ARE NOT INTERESTED

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint What have I done other than contact a professional roofing company to come to my house and help me with a leak that is small but progressively getting worse Who else would I call to come help me fix a leak in my roof than the company that has the most familiarity with the product If I call a contractor I expect them to at least return my calls or show up to give an estimate or at the very least tell that they can't do the work and suggest another contractor Davis Contracting has done none of these Regards, [redacted] ***

Davis Contracting Called me two weeks ago and said they would have someone contact me and come out and see the problem that week. I have not heard back from them and no one from Davis Contracting has come out to even look at the problem

AFTER REVEIWING OUR RECORDS AND TALKING WITH THIS CUSTOMER THIS ROOF WAS INSTALLED YEARS AGO AND HAS BEEN OUT OF WARRANTY FOR YEARS OUR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY IS YEARS SO WE ARE IN NO WAY OBLIGATED TO ADRESS THIS CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS THANKS, *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.    I never asked for anything to be covered under the warranty.  I only asked for them to fix the leak and explained that I was willing to pay to have it fixed.  The reason I requested they fix it was because they did the work and would have knowledge.  I still expect them to be able to come out and fix the leak in my roof for a fee.  The fact that they will not even come out to look at it and or return my calls is un acceptable.  They should come out and fix the leak before it gets worse and cost more money.  I never asked or expected the work to be covered under a warranty.

WE HAVE ALREADY SENT OUT A SERVICE TECHNICIAN TO RECAULK THE PIPE BOOT PENETRATION THIS WAS NOT A WORKMANSHIP ISSUE THE BOOT  SIMPLY NEEDED TO BE RECAULKED AROUND THE TOP IT WAS DONE WHEN THE ROOF WAS INSTALLED IN 2010 BUT THE SEALENT HAD WEATHERED AND CRACKED ALLOWING WATER SEEPAGE AROUND...

THE BOOT THIS IS A  COMMON OCCURANCE WHEN A ROOF IS EXPOSED TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT ALSO WHILE MY TECHNICIAN WAS THERE HE WENT INTO THE ATTIC AND INSPECTED THE AREA IN QUESTION THE WOOD IS NOT BAD IT IS DISCOLORED AS THE REST OF THE WOOD IN THE ATTIC BEING THAT THIS HOUSE WAS CONSTRUCTED IN THE 1940S OR 50S AND STILL HAS THE ORIGIONAL WOOD DECKING IN PLACE ALTHOUGH OUR RESPONSE TIME WAS A LITTLE LONGATED AND WE APOLOGIZED TO MRS [redacted] FOR THAT WE FEEL LIKE WE HAVE  FULFILLED  OUR PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATIONS ABOVE AND BEYOND TO THIS CUSTOMER

New Roof. Called several other companies in the area. One company came out and caulked the leak then had two more leaks. Called [redacted]. He told me when he would come out and he did. Gave me quote. His crew put a new roof on the house in 6 hours. [redacted]s crew was very professional and "clean-up" was outstanding. House looks great and most of all, no more leaks.
