PC Land Surveying

Review: at the closing of my home purchase I received a survey certified and signed by this company. I was not aware of the charge for the survey until the closing. the charge was $1750.00. when calling this company to inquire about the charge I was informed by [redacted] ,the [redacted], that he did not do this job, he had no idea what was charged, he signed a "map" done by a friend of his as a favor because he (the friend) does NOT have a license to do such, the friend works in NYC as a union worker, [redacted] was NOT hired by the title company he in fact was paid by his friend via personal check, the friend is NOT an employee of PC land surveying. I have recorded conversations between [redacted](the [redacted]) and my finance which proves the above statements.Desired Settlement: refund so I can obtain a professional and accurate survey from a professional company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

PC Land Surveying PLLC. and [redacted] are the certifying company name, signature, and license # on the map... therefore he/the company are responsible for the refund. Also, [redacted] confirmed in one of the many recorded conversations that he/ PC Land Surveying did not step foot on my property. [redacted] only signed a map completed by [redacted](a non licensed union worker in NYC). How is the certified map I received accurate when the man/company who signed it didn't actually walk the property? Per the first message sent from [redacted], the [redacted], on November **,2013 he stated he had contact with the title company now his most recent message states he did not. This company is not reliable for accuracy or professionalism as proven by the [redacted]s contradicting responses and this situation. I would like a refund so I can obtain an accurate survey from a professional company.
