This buyer is a COMPLETE BOLDFACE LIAR.The system the buyer purchased was advertised as "Gateway" and he received a Gateway system rebuilt in a brand new case, exactly as picturedThis buyer purchased a Core Duo system, it is a very old system which is why it was rebuilt in a new case, the components itself are over years old which is why it was so inexpensive but it was advertised exactly as suchThe system was NEVER advertised as "Gateway refurbished"Buyer is lying and making this upThe ad for the system can be found at the link below:http://www.pcpartsohio.com/gateway-intel-3-06ghz-core-2-duo-windows-7-comp... website also clearly indicates 20% restocking fee under the same link under "warranty section".Furthermore, the buyer NEVER called us, all communication was done via emailWe have responded to all of buyers buyer emails, offered him a complete refund as a courtesy without the 20% restocking fee upon return of the systemBuyer was in fact refunded his full purchase price of $on 7/1/15, as soon as the unit was returnedI have absolutely no idea what rating the buyer is talking aboutThere has not been a buyer comment about this particular system since May of this year.Additionally, buyer is lying about contacting his credit card company, since we refunded buyer in full, no questions asked, there would have been no reason to contact the CC company and of course, they never contacted us.Also the buyer did contact the Attorney GeneralWe received the correspondence, responded to it with a similar response and the case was immediately closed.This has been by far the worse experience with a buyer in a very long time [redacted] We issued buyer a full refund as soon as the unit was returned and we issued a full refund despite our very clear 20% restocking fee policy and what we got in return is lies, lies and more lies and a bunch of non-sense complaints we had to deal withThis is completely ridiculous, this buyer should not be allowed to shop on the internet - EVER!

I do not know what this customer is referring toHowever the comments or product reviews left on our website along with all website content are our intellectual property and we can do with it as we pleaseThis buyers original comment was positive, as he has shown in his attachmentWe had removed the comment after the unit was returned and refundedAs far as I am concerned this transaction has been completed and we went our separate waysEverything has been returned to where it was before the transaction happened and quite frankly I see absolutely no point in going over this issue any further

When a customer buys something from ***.com, we are not included in any communication if the customer choose to communicate with ***.com rather than us (the seller) directly*** customer service handles all inquiries in accordance with their policies and keep us out of direct customer
communicationWhen the customer contacted us directly, we issued RMA number to have the part returned for full refund and the refund was issuedShipping charges are not refundable, that is clearly stated on all of our listings on ***.comFurthermore, the PC board that was returned to us was tested and was functioning properly, it was returned back to good stock, so the problem is most likely with one of the other many components in customer's PCThe buyer received the refund upon returning functional part and in full accordance with ***.com policy, we were debited by ***.com for the amount of return and the return was closed and resolveThank you

components itself are over 6 years old which is why it was so inexpensive but it was advertised exactly as such. The system was NEVER advertised as "Gateway refurbished". Buyer is lying and making this up. I stand by my complaint. My original review was entirely negative, and they had no right changing it to a positive one. All of my previous statements have been verified by the material I have sent you. It is obvious that I would not give a 5 star review considering the condition in which I received the computer. This company seems to have no scruples at all in dealing with their customers. Buyer Beware!
