Review: I was guaranteed a specific price on an item that never arrived. On November 24, 2013, PCTronics-Solutions agreed to sell me a [redacted] at the price of $169.99 plus tax, for a total of $180.76. This item was to be a Christmas gift, and owner [redacted] assured me it would arrive well before Christmas. I ordered it in person on November 29 and was told that it would arrive the following week. On December 6, I contacted [redacted] about my order. He informed me that the item was on backorder but reassured me that it would arrive before Christmas. I continued to inquire about my order over the next two weeks, and [redacted] consistently assured me that my order would arrive by Christmas. On Friday, December 20, [redacted] informed me that the Kindle had not yet shipped and that he would refund me. In order to receive the Kindle by Christmas, I rush ordered it from another vendor for $269.00 (total $286.08 including tax). PCTronics-Solutions had guaranteed me my item at the price of $169.99 and continually provided misinformation about my order, forcing me into a situation in which I had to order the item at full-price at the last minute before Christmas in order to receive the gift in time. I suggested to [redacted] that he needed to back up his guarantee and cover the difference in price I had to pay for the full-price item. He said he would do right one way or another. He also informed me that he had processed my refund and that the funds would be returned to my account within 2-5 days. On December 26, I again contacted [redacted] to inquire about the resolution of this dispute and informed him that I still had not been refunded. He said he needed a few more days to come up with a resolution. This was the last time I corresponded with [redacted]. Despite repeated assurance of impending resolution from the business owner, there has been no attempt to resolve the issue and I was never even refunded for my purchase.Desired Settlement: I expect PCTronics Solutions to back up the price I was guaranteed. I am seeking money back in the amount of $105.22, the difference in price between what PCTronics-Solutions guaranteed to me and what I ended up paying elsewhere.

Review: On September 24, 2014, [redacted] picked up my [redacted] laptop PC for a free repair estimate. After a few days, he noted a motherboard problem and provided his invoice #[redacted] for the repair. I authorized a charge on one of my credit cards. He had problems with that card, so a second card was authorized and charged. That was mid-October 2014. Later in the month, the charge appeared on my original card as well. Meanwhile, he gave my no progress report or advice on the repair.

I advised him of the charge on the second card and he said a credit would be issued in 5-7 days. It wasn't. Consequently, I disputed the charge on the original card.

Since early November, I have been trying to contact Mr. [redacted] about the repair. No reply. Las week, I disputed the charge on my second credit card and informed him that I wanted the PC returned, regardless of the sate of repair. No reply.

Two months is far too long for a simple estimate and repair. The duplicate credit card charges are also suspicious.Desired Settlement: I want the PC returned in the same condition as it was given to Mr. [redacted]. I also want the company's agreement that they will not contest the credit card disputes, cooperate with the credit card companies during that process, and not process any charges in the future.

Excellent service. Never an issue.
