Review: bought a 1 year pc 24/7 support - every time I call the business, they are closed.Desired Settlement: like my money back

Review: PC VEDIC states on their website that they are certified service technicians for Microsoft; they use the Microsoft special font. That made me feel comfortable, and I paid them $299.99 to "take care" of my computer for two years..Last week they called to inform me that "my computer was in danger of crashing and destroying all my data AT ANY MOMENT" if I didn't pay them an additional $200 (approx.) to delete the program that was hacking my computer. The technician even showed me a telephone number, supposedly on my computer that he "thought was from Mexico."I demurred and said I would contact Microsoft; my tech, [redacted], assured me that he was indeed a Microsoft registered technician. He then proceeded to show me a screen with red chart markings, raging up and down, "showing the damage happening to my computer" even as we spoke.Again I said I was going to talk to Microsoft, and he then showed me onscreen "a page with the official stamp and markings of the office of the Governor of Delaware" listing PC VEDIC as an "approved" company.Subsequently I spoke with a representative in the Governor's office, who informed me that PC VEDIC is on their scam list! The page I found on my own search for the Governor's phone number was not at all like the one shown to me by the VC VEDIC tech. Hmmm? I again told "Sunny" that I would check with Microsoft and get back to him.Stupid me, I should have checked with Microsoft in the very beginning. Of course, they assured me that this is a big scam operation, and they are going to have their "endorsement" removed. By the way, the real Microsoft technician check my computer, removed all programs relating to PC VEDIC, and assured me that my computer was never in any danger of immediate crashing.I feel that I am entitled to a refund of my money.Desired Settlement: Since I signed onto their program because of the fraudulent, online advertisement that they were Microsoft certified, and because they called me to scare me into paying them more money to save my computer that was in danger of crashing at any moment, I feel justified in demanding the return of my $299.99.Incidentally, I checked on some scam reports, and found one from a gentlemen who also was called by them because his computer was going to crash at any moment.Let's put a stop to this.
