The guys at PC Warehouse are extremely helpfulI brought in an old Mac laptop today that wouldn't start upIt was too old to be worth the repair, but they were able to salvage the important files on my HDThey even let me copy them to my Dropbox account because I forgot to bring a backup device
Very positive experienceWould strongly recommend for any PC/Mac needs

Cracked Iphone4S screen brought in for screen replacement returned back with non working phone8/2/2014 around 230 pm I brought my fully functioning Iphone 4s in for a front screen replacement. I was told the repair was complete and I could pick up my phone. I picked up the phone around 4pm and questioned the repair man on why my phone was not connected to a network. He said it had no sim card that's why it did not work. I have Sprint service which does not use sim cards and explained also that the phone was fully functioning prior to me bringing it in. They had another repair guy look at it and he worked on it until they closed at 6pm. He appologized and gave it back in worse condition than the first time it was "repaired" because now it will not turn on, I have no access to contacts or pictures. I lost everything I had on my phone. My contract was not up and I unfortunately did not have insurance which is why I brought it in for repair. This caused me to have to start a new contract get a new number and buy a brand new phone the same day. I still have to pay for this phone that is not functioning so I don't have early termination fees and my new phone cost me $250 plus taxes and the needed accessories. I will now be paying 2 phone bills on top of this addtional charge. PC warehouse should be liable for these charges due to their inexperienced repairmen breaking my Iphone.Desired SettlementEarly termination fee, new phone fee, activation fee and reimbursement for the additional monthly charges for having to have two plansBusiness Response Dear [redacted],I am sorry to respond late. M. [redacted] came to us on Aug 2nd with a broken iphone screen. We replaced the screen for $59. She paid and she picked up. She came back with a problem of making phone calls. Two of our senior technicians looked at again, could not solve the issue. When the phone was dropped, the broken parts inside stayed together and kept working. When the phone was taken apart, broken parts( can't see with a naked eye sometimes) are no longer together. The service order she signed said" I understand that problems during servicing could arise and are not the fault of PC Warehouse but are coincidental and could surface when a previous problem is corrected". I made an offer for her. Either we replace the phone for her or refund her and gave her the value of the replacement phone. She took the refund and received $99. She was satisfied at that time. We did our part.Thank you for your attention.[redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did receive $99 refund to "replace" my phone however due to them braking my phone it had cost me much more than $99 that he offered me because it was the "best" he could do. I had to continue paying for my broken phone plan for an additional month costing me $100 and had to purchase a new phone plan with a new company costing me $250+. I accepted what was offered but still feel that PC warehouse should have done more. Their "trained senior technicians" treated me with no respect with this issue, held up my time for over 3 hours, and tried to tell me misinformation about my phone that I trusted their ability as professionals to fix. I feel I should be compensated more than $99 due to all of the additional money and stress this caused me.Final Business Response We refunded our client $60 plus tax for the repair, and gave her $99 as a final settlement. We gave her two choices at that time: one is we replace the phone for her or gave her the money. She took the money instead. The money she spent on new phone or new plan is really her own choice. We can't do anything about it. We value her business. We are willing to gave her $30 store credit.Thank you very much.[redacted]Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)$30 store credit is not acceptable. I will never return to PC Warehouse
