Asset Auctions Online handled an auction which I was a bidder and winner of a particular product, which was one of three similar products available Each of these three items had different lot numbers associated with them and each was a different quality I bid and won the one product that was in the best condition of the three When my agent went to pick up the product, several hours away, the gentleman said the products were "first come, first serve." As my agent only knew the lot number of the product, the agent selected the best conditioned product available However, the item I purchased was already claimed and the one my agent picked up was in significantly worse condition While I tried to discuss alternatives with Asset Auctions Online, they were extremely abrasive and down right mean They stated several times about Indiana law and continually spoke down to the customer All I requested was the difference in value between the product I won and the product I received However, in my opinion, they misrepresented the products of the auction and gave my agent the wrong item, which is a big deal They admitted that it was not "first come first serve" but that I should have received the product that I bid now However, I did not I was trying to reach an agreement with them, but he had no desire to do so Even threatening and being intimidating about the laws of the auction and of the state Based on this customer service, I would never attend or bid on an item through Asset Auctions Online or [redacted] At least they could have had the business decency to refund my purchase and pay for my agents shipping fees or the difference in price between the item won and the item received

[redacted] was informed that he could return the item for a full refund. 
 
He opted not to return the item but still demands a partial refund and keep the item.
 
That is not acceptable to us as the auction company or our client [redacted]...

All of us are still wondering why he would pick up the item in person then dispute the facts.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I feel that the auction company did not do a very good pre auction plan,,all the items I saw had no lot numbers on them, this making it very easy for the seller ([redacted]) to load out the wrong item,, which they did.. There was no way of knowing that I could reject the item at the time of pick up and how was I to know I was going to get a refund.I really think the auction company did a very poor job on this auction both pre and post.  This is my feeling and I'm sticking to it....Yes I will fight for $30.00Regards,[redacted]
