We have receipts that we will gladly upload where we paid out for parts for Mr.***'s vehicle that total out to more than $including the $car show paymentThe agreement from Mr.*** and us was to pay his *** entry & purchase his other lighting parts at our cost to total the $- which was already completed months agoThe HALO in question did in fact work fine - before that there was a wiring issue that occurred when he had another company take his bumper offI have witnesses that are customers along with staff members hereWe also did this customer's vehicle for NO PROFIT as a sponsor vehicle - which has been nothing but a headache (because of the customer) when we have 100% feedback from EVERY other customerWe gladly offered to fix the headlight and have Mr.*** bring his vehicle in like every other customer - but he again wanted his own mechanic to take the headlights out; so it's not our issue with the time complaint when it took days expedited to receive the new part inAlso, this complaint is null and void as we have already dropped the completed headlights off at the paint shop last week on 4/18/Monday morning working perfectly, with a new lens that had a PAINT issue which should have never been at our shop in the first place for the second timeAt this point, this customer has cost a fortune for lost business and special treatmentHonestly, we should counter-complain and argue for the lost wages and lack of promoting our business/services and also for doing work that has nothing to do with warranty - for FREE at no chargeIn regards to a warranty, we offer varying warranties on only parts (Mr.***'s lighting products on his vehicle are still fully warrantied) and there is NO WARRANTY on labor - everWe also paid Mr.***s entry fee to the *** of Customs car show of $- which we again can email the car show company and get a copy of the receiptThe headlights were fixed in the timeliest manner we were able to fix them with ordering a $dollar lens (receipt will be uploaded) that had to be special ordered then installed which was communicated to Mr.***This customer thinks he is better than everyone else and that he comes first above allTake a look at his complaints written on Revdex.com - he is a regular complainer to say the LEAST when he doesn't get his wayThere will be NO extra warranties given and no money paid outIf you have any further warranty issues, call the office and bring/ship in the part that has the issue and we will be glad to warranty it out like every other customer if in the warrantable time allotted - once we receive the replacement from the manufacturerThe warranty policy is on every invoice and printed off in the showroom in bold for any and every customer to seeWe do our best to deal with any issue but there are always those few people that are difficult to deal with and the best situation is never good enough - this being a prime exampleWe also have statements from Mr.*** where he threatened to complain on here if the headlights weren't completed the previous Friday 4/15/when we told him we couldn't have the parts in by then and completed until the following Monday 4/18/The headlights were dropped off first thing that Monday morning on 4/18/on time with new lens (resulting from spyder-cracking tinted clearcoat over the headlight lens)At that time he took it upon himself to write this complaint

First, Mr.*** asked us to drop off the lights and we have done so - long agoWhen Mr.***, myself and my staff discussed the issue the day it happened (before all this) both myself and my staff told Mr.*** that we will sand the bad painted headlight down then drop them off at Paint & Powder to have him re-paint the headlightNEVER was any issue that WE had to pay ANYTHING to anyone when the issue was a paint related issue in the first placeThis was never discussed as by us doing most of the work sanding & total lens replacement anyway, all the painter had to do was literally re-paint the lens regardless of where Mr.*** feels the fault for the paint issue may layThe headlight wasn't warped nor did it have any issue other than the paint small spyder crackingAs we said earlier, we always have to heat headlights slightly to separate the lenses and the paint spyder cracking was not even our issue to begin with but rather a paint issueSince it even happened to the headlight on our watch, we felt like we should at least do the right thing to take care of our customer & sand it down or replace the lens so there would be no labor required at the paint shop - which was completed and finished over a month ago. The receipts have been uploaded showing that we have paid out for costs and parts totaling to OVER $- which Mr.*** picked up happily and we are unsure of why there is even an issue to begin with there. We have copies of emails showing where we have offered Mr.*** to fix ANY issue(s) related to our work and those are still valid do to this dayWe have had policies in place for years stating that there is NO warranty on labor, everThis is not going to be an exception and you are not specialJust because you argue and complain is not a valid reason to give labor warranties when there is NO SUCH THING(See picture of policy CLEARLY on our wall that has been there for over a year and on also on our receipts)Your original complaint was to have us pay $and drop off the headlights - which has been completed before this complaint was even written minus the bogus $so for you to now come back and say you want us to pay storage is also null & voidThe painter and yourself should have taken care of this long ago when we originally dropped off the headlights last month. This is the first we have ever heard of "us supposedly having to pay for the repaint on the one headlight" so for you to even say that is ridiculous. If there is any mediation in this case, we will be arguing for our lost money in wages, sponsorship where we agreed to do the work for 50% off for Mr.*** to promote the business and much more. 11.We will even to this day still take care of ANY issue to ANY installation but just like any customer, the labor is not covered BUT all of the parts themselves are under warranty for varying termsThat in itself is taking responsibility for any issue and beyond that is and has been the policy

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The halo was not working prior to the car show and Ryan even saw the video of the halo not working. It stop working a few days after leaving Novo LightingWhat Ryan fails to realize is that when you have over $150,invested in a show car you better pay closer attention to detail then you would a daily driver carRyan is the one who said the light would be complete within one week for pick upRyan fails to under stand that no one is asking for favorsLet your yes mean yes and stand behind your workWhen you have something done regardless of what it is, it is not asking for favors not to brake for stuff when they have it in their shop, that's a given. I want my $that I paid for out of my pocket for my driver side door sill panel that they broke and to pay back what I will owe ***e Customs for storage and removing and reinstalling my lightsI also want a five year warranty on their labor since is this a show car with very little miles driven on it and the fact that their work is not of high quality because of being new to the business and being inexperienced on working on expensive show cars

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

We will agree to pay the $280 - Minus the documented $55 we paid out for Mr.[redacted]'s entry from [redacted] = $225We will also agree to pay the (high price) $100 for the re-paint of the ONE headlight.  Grand total of $225 + $100 = $325.00We will NOT be paying ANY storage costs -The original complaint was to get the lights dropped off and DID NOT state ANYTHING about us needing to pay for painting - OR - that the headlights were waiting there at the painter's shop, uncompleted for weeks on end and furthermore, DID NOT state anything in the previous complaints prior to the last rebuttal. The original argument was to have us sand and/or replace the headlight lens - then drop the headlights off at Paint & Powder (which was completed before this complaint was even submitted) and the painter would take care of the paint cost with US doing all the work in the first place! Even for the charge to be $100.00 - is pretty high given that it was only ONE headlight with a brand new lens! We can get a PAIR of headlights completed for $80 from the SAME GUY! In this case, Novo Lighting has ALREADY paid out OVER $800 in documented materials and labor costs to get the headlight sanded with a brand new lens AND an additional $300 in documented labor costs replacing the bad LED driver (under warranty itself) that was the cause to even unseal the headlight in the first place - where once again, we didn't charge this customer a dime. Totaling $1100 in costs trying to do everything in our power to take care of this customer. Our last part of this offer requires that Mr.[redacted] COMPLETELY STOPS harassing our customers. Its is one thing to write a bad review. It's a total other thing to intentionally seek out, message, comment and complain to our satisfied customers! Facebook has already blocked him from our page after reviewing his comments and messages. Not a difficult request as Mr.[redacted] has taken it upon himself to write a negative review on EVERY SINGLE site that is reviewable. Regardless, we at Novo Lighting feel this is a fair and just offer to move forward and close this ridiculous complaint.

We have done everything in our power to deal with this customer. He to this day has never said a word about any $280 because, in fact we did pay back half for his [redacted] entrance and the remaining half for the lighting products Mr. [redacted] asked us to order. The latest issue - Well Mr. [redacted]...

did in fact drop off his headlights to us (after massaging my personal number 20x when I asked him not to) and looking for special treatment. He dropped his headlights off last week and expected us to drop everything to cater to his needs. The reason he did drop the headlights off was when at [redacted] of Customs Car show - his OWN inverter was broken and putting too much power to his vehicle's electrical system - frying his front HALO light in the process. (not totally but dimmed the light) I myself asked him to have the headlights dropped off and we would take care of it at NO charge. (when labor is not covered under warranty) When he dropped off the headlights, we replaced the light but when we heated the light by hand, it put small spider cracks in the tint covering over the headlight in a small 4 inch area when we have done this same procedure in the past (even on Mr.[redacted]s own taillights with no issue) When this happened we let Mr.[redacted] know that we would take care of removing the headlight lens covering tint back to original for the painter to match the other headlight once completed. Mr.[redacted] was demanding and threatened to write this complaint if we didn't have the headlight completed by Friday. Over a 5 day period of time, we wet sanded and worked on the headlight lens all to no avail when we found there was a covering on the [redacted] lights and it would have to be replaced. Same day, we ordered a replacement and had it overnight shipped to us. It arrived Saturday and we had it finished within 2 hours and was at the painter's shop first thing this morning. Fact of the matter - Mr.[redacted] goes around asking for discounts on his [redacted] all so he can screw people over and blame them for messing his car up almost every time then if you don't do it to his perfection, he threatens you and writes complaints on your business. Also, Mr.[redacted] blamed us for "using double sided tape, breaking clips that hold the bumper" all when his own mechanic told him in fact, it wasn't us that did any damage - but he STILL did not apologize. This is one of those customers that is impossible to deal with and thinks everyone owes him special favors.
