Review: [redacted] of PDA Contractors was hired to do some exterior landscaping at my home. I have the agreed up contract and he did not complete the work. Unfortunately, I had made final payment and then he disappeared. The item that is left on the list is to replenish the stones in my driveway - which is about $600 worth of work.Desired Settlement: I would either like him to finish the work or refund that portion of the job.

Review: I signed a contract on August 13,2013 with [redacted] of PDA Contractors,LLC to have a patio installed in my backyard. I gave him a deposit at that time with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project. In accordance with the Homeowner regs approval is required and projects need to be completed w/in 45 days. He assured me he had plenty of experience working with [redacted]. Plans were to be submitted by the end of the week that the contract was signed. After a couple of weeks,I hadn't heard from him and checked with an Assoc board member and the plans had not been submitted. After an email and several phone calls,I requested my deposit back. It took several days to get a response. He asked for a chance to make things rights, which I did against my better judgement. Another couple weeks went by and I received a denial notice for the project due to insufficient info on the proposal. At [redacted] request,I provided a platt so he could resubmit the proposal. The project was approved October 11th and I notified him immediately. He said he would schedule it right away. I called him on October 24th as he had not contacted me with a start date. He said they would be out the next week and would call beforehand so that I could notify my neighbors and I could make arrangements for my dog. He did not contact me and did not show up. I sent a registered letter on Nov 3rd to cancel the contract and request my deposit back. On that same day, he or his workers excavated for the patio, and the shape was not what was expected. There was no notice and no follow up. I called him that day,but he did not return my call. I sent an email to follow up on the letter as I hadn't heard from him. [redacted] eventually responded,by which time I had already notified the Assoc that the project was cancelled. And the 45 day approval window was closed. I again requested my deposit back.I have tried to contact him several times since to resolve this situation however, he has not responded.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit returned.
