Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business manager is flat-out lying. The fact that the car passed DEQ is not evidence that the car was fixed, only that something was adjusted long enough to get through the inspection. The check engine light was back on the day after the car was returned to me. The same error code that was noted by the failed trip through DEQ was also found by my mechanic, and was read directly from the car's computer. The car was sold as is, but if the dealer did not believe the repair to be their responsibility, they would not have put it in their shop after the sale. Not only has this business committed fraud in their deal with me, now they are committing slander against me. I have not been hostile, I have simply asked them to do the right thing. I have attached my initial communication with them requesting just that. I have also never made a threat of any kind against this business, more slander against me. I think my position is proven by the fact that they seem to so badly want me to return this car. They know I have had it repaired, they have a copy of the invoice. This shows them that they did not have it repaired properly. They would like to take the newly repaired car that cost them nothing to fix, and sell it to someone else,(likely at a higher price) they have admitted it publicly. They want me to walk away with nothing but the repair bill, insurance and loan payments, and pay them a daily rate on top of it? This is not acceptable to me.

and to refund her the entire purchase price, if the vehicle was returned within the week. Our offer and communications were met with hostility and threats. The vehicle had no issues needing repair to pass DEQ, as proven by the fact that the vehicle had passed DEQ inspection. Client needs to seek refund from mechanic shop that did unnecessary repairs.We have attached a copy of the client signing an understanding that the vehicle was sold "As Is". Please review. As an act of good faith we are further willing to take back the vehicle minus $25 per day and $.35 per mile from date and mileage of vehicle sale.Sincerely,ManagerPOX Auto MartAttachment: AS IS NO WARRANTY
