I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***I took a few days to absorb ***'s response to my complaint because I am in utter shock that someone can so blatantly lie about our entire interaction I knew she would not be happy with the complaint but was blindsided by her lying about the whole situation Apparently, I need to take my rose colored glasses off and not think that everyone will be honest It is one thing to be upset/angry, it is another to lie. Lie 1: Who in their right mind "hires someone to fire them"? Why would my husband and I obtain bids to paint our home in hopes of hiring someone who is a *** supporter, pay them and go through this sickening experience? *** and I have actually had numerous conversations (one is in a text message I have) about how upset we were about *** being elected She knows full well how much I detest *** *** (seriously, you could see this on my *** page) and was incredibly saddened by his election to ***. Lie 2: I never "declined" her 1st quote as she stated I was obtaining other bids and was waiting for the quotes to come back so it took a couple weeks before we agreed to go with ***. Lie 3: She claims I wrote out a check to the "incorrect recipient" I wrote the 1st check out to her business "Peace Lady Painting" She texted me asking me to make the check out to her personally "T*** ***" which I did Sounds like tax evasion to me now that I am beginning to understand this person. Lie 4: About the new hinges she got paint all over I have texts confirming we asked not just verbally but in writing if we should remove the doors so she wouldn't ruin the new hardware. Lie 5: She does NOT state in her CONTRACT that I have that she has a 10% cancellation fee Even if she did, it would not matter, we did not cancel, we fired her for poor quality workmanship and attitude Lie 6: I have NEVER "let a contractor go", never mind contractors Is she saying this to make it seem like we are unreasonable people? It is clear that we are not going to be able to resolve this through the Revdex.com as *** is going to continue to lie I have proof via text messages, emails, her contract and over photos of the poor quality work she did and will need to seek reimbursement through small claims court I had hoped to avoid all of this but *** has made it clear she cannot be reasoned with. I believe [redacted] hired me to fire me. I believe she (  & her husband ) is a [redacted] supporter...

and are out to sabatage my business. I have never been so disrespected and micro managed in my 16 years of being in business. The fiasco began with her 1'st declining from quote, I deleted from my files. [redacted] contacts me 2 months later stating she changed her mind. She sent a "copy" of my quote but the total labor was changed from original quote. She then delayed booking by first claiming envelope with booking slid in between car seat. 2nd check was made out to incorrect recipient. On 1st day of work [redacted] attempted to add too quote the closets trim. I spent the 1st 20 minutes defending my quote process and no I was not being condescending when agreeing to throw in costs at my expense.Now there is the issue of BLACK hinges. I asked the [redacted]s to wait on installing ANY new hardware to doors until after I painted. I will not even respond to her complaints about my work as I was still in prep mode, not even 2 days into job and certainly was not finished with ANY room. I even explained she needs to wait to "inspect" as I always do 1 or 2 inspections of my own prior to calling a room completed.[redacted] badgered and bullied me and finally said "My husband will inspect your work tonight and we will let you know whether or not to return Monday." My response  I'll save you the trouble".I packed my things while [redacted] belittled and insulted me in a room I couldn't exit because she took the door knobs off! I have since refunded $326.00. I charge 10% for all jobs cancelled through no fault of mine.I have been in business 16 years and I have NEVER left a job prior to it's completion. I suppose when one do closes another one opens.Goodluck to the [redacted]s.PS- There were 2 other projects started in her home that she said contractor's were not "doing it right" and she had to let them go.
