Review: I purchased 2 gift cards (#[redacted] and #[redacted])on 12/17/2012($26 each) for the purpose of having pedicures at a later date. These gift cards remained in my house until the time we decided to use them for my daughters prior to leaving on vacation to Florida. We had 3 appointments (5:00 p.m.) at Peace Nails for pedicures on Friday May 17th, 2013. I handed my two gift cards to the employee who indicated that one of the gift cards only had $2 remaining. I explained that we did not use the cards until 5/17. They indicated that gift card [redacted] was used on 2/1/2013 for services of $24. They employees were not understanding me when I explained that it was not my card that was used. I suggested that they may have typed (entered)the number incorrectly. They asked me to pay for all other services (minus gift cards worth $26 and $2.) I am out $24. I asked for the owner to call me to discuss the situation. I have not heard back from anyone at Peace Nails. I called again today (5/28/2013) to speak to the owner. I was told she is not in Pennsylvania. I asked when she will be available at the business for me to stop by and discuss. I asked to have her number, they would not provide that to me. At no time on 5/17 or today when I spoke to Peace Nails did they indicate they were sorry or could provide reimbursement back to me.Desired Settlement: Refund of $24.
