Peace of Mind Audio & Video

In the summer of 2015 I asked John [redacted] of Peace of Mind Audio and Video to quote the installation of a camera security system at my office building both inside and outside. I gave John access to the property prior to his giving me a bid. The bid started out at approximately $2295 for 8 cameras. On July 28 I gave John [redacted] the owner of Peace of Mind audio and Video, a check for $1,150 as a down payment which was cashed that day. On the day of installation, which was a Saturday John arrived, surveyed the building, and said the job was more difficult than had been expected, as some plastic PVC had to be run for the wiring, and he wanted approximately $1,500 more or approximately $3800 to do the job. I declined the new price. I have been trying to get a refund since and Mr. [redacted] has given multiple different excuses as to why a refund has not been sent yet. He no longer will take my calls. As of today Oct 20, 2015 I am still waiting for a refund.
