Peace Transport, Inc, made this delivery to [redacted] on August 5, 2016.    Our freight bill was signed clear by Ms [redacted] of any problems and our delivery people left the customer happy with her new purchase.  We were not contacted regarding any problems until 8 days...

later.  The customer was not in the room when she "heard" something and assumed it was the chair hitting her buffet.    Peace Transport, Inc, can only honor claims that are made at the time of delivery, as our paper work plainly states. (Copy of clear signed bill attached.  And yes, we do hire women.  Equal Employment Opportunity is the law.  The dealer where she purchased her furniture, sided with Peace Transport, Inc.

I am rejecting this response because:  There is no doubt that your employee dropped the chair on my buffet making a large scratch.  I signed for my chair that was delivered in good condition.   I SIGNED FOR MY PURCHASED CHAIR THAT WAS DELIVERED IN GOOD CONDITION.  IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY BUFFET BEING SCRATCHED.  Also, this complaint has nothing to do with the law and hiring women.  I will repeat what was told to me by your driver:  He said that his regular helper couldn't help him make deliveries  so he asked his cousin to help him.  This was the young lady.  She was nice - I have no complaint about having a women deliver anything.  I don't believe she was an employee of your company.  I wondered at the time if this was legal.  I would have had no reason to look at all of my other furniture to see if it was scratched.  I know beyond a doubt that my brand new buffet was scratched that evening.
