I drove from Mobile to look at a Cadillac SRXWe worked out prices on the SRX and my trade and when we got into finance the numbers had changed and a $dock fee had been addedWhen I asked whatThe $fee was four I was told by the finance person "profit for the dealership "The funniest person tells me and my wife "you make it hard to sell a car to" among other rude things he said I thought this was a very unprofessionalBesides buying a home, a vehicle is a very large purchase for anyoneIn my opinion this finance person needs to go work the register at Danny's and learn how to deal with people before he tries to do finance for a large purchaseI will not be back
I would just like to make other people aware of the problem we had with Peach Chevrolet that may keep another person from making the same mistake. We are guilty of running our mouth and not paying attention to items added to our contract. A $2,995 warranty contract good for six months or 6,000 miles which ever came first. We did not catch and was not even told by the financial manager " ladies just wanted to let you know we have added a warranty for $2,995 to your contract and will cover the following. Never said a word. Like I said we did not notice and we are guilty. If had not been for information we needed on the paperwork we would have never known the warranty was on the paperwork. We ask for a refund after that, was a terrible ordeal, lasted almost 3 months, calling Peach and the Warranty Company many times. Only had the car for two months and was totaled due to an accident with a deer. They only gave us 46% of our money back and I fought with them to even get that. I hope this review will help just one person not make the same mistake I made. I tell everyone I see about what happened just in case they know someone who lives in the area.
