Contracted to handle all aspects of family estate sale 7.16.19 after 2 mos rcv'd proceeds, given NSF check. No response to emails phone nor text.
Peachtree Bennett Galleries, Companies Estate Sales, et al, were contracted to negotiate and conduct auction of family furniture estate 'North Atlanta' on July 16, 2019 - auction results were well below furniture value. After over two months attempting to contact Peachtree Bennett to receive actual proceeds from auction, on Sep 11th we were able to receive check *** for $3217.36 at *** Road ***, GA XXXXX. And due to my emergency health and hospitalization, check was delayed deposit until Nov 22, 2019, then check was returned Nov 26th due to NSF. Peachtree and Bennett Galleries were then contacted by several texts and phone voice mails with no response: Dec 18, 2019 (text copy of NSF check provided), Dec 20th, Jan 7th (called from number, which did not reflect my identity, then was able to speak with Alejandra, apparent business manager for owner Gary ***, and was assured of a time on Jan 8th to meet and to receive cashiers/certified check for payment) - no response after additional texts on Jan 8th. Substantial evidence is present that Peachtree and Bennett knowingly wrote a fraudulent check on Sep 11, 2019, insufficient funds, and have attempted to circumvent any communication or recompense.

We left items with them for in late July/early August. They have not sent us our funds, will not return calls or e-mails. They owe us at least $250.
We left several items with them that they said would be auctioned in late July/early August, when we were moving out of the country I have been calling and e-mailing them now for five months. They will not return my emails or calls, and have not remitted our funds. We are now forced to seek legal action, as well as to make a formal complaint to the Georgia Secretary of State!

I purchased at auction on Oct 13, 2018 lot number *** for a handwritten 188's ledger. I waited about 4 weeks before contacting them to see where my invoice was because I never received one. I called several times and never received a call back and then finally reached a man to whom I explained that I believe *** gave them an old email address. I made payment over the phone using my Visa credit card for the sum of $12.77 for the item plus shipping. My bank account shows that the charge posted on Nov 16, 2018. To date I have never received the ledger and it will soon be 2 months that I've made payment. My phone calls and email have never been returned to tell me whether they are sending the ledger or giving me my money back. The took money and never supplied the item. This is illegal! Their business practices are extremely unprofessional. I want the item or my money and I want it known that this is how they do business. Thank you for your assistance. ***

Never received the items I paid for!
I bid on a number of items, paid for them, paid an additional $75 for them to be delivered from The Connecticut location, and never heard from them again. It's been four years and I've called only to be bounced around and told they'd call me back.
