Did not do the job correctly and then did not correct the problem.
On August 22, 2019, I Called to get my dryer vent blown out because dryer was not drying my clothes . Repairmen showed up the next day, a Friday. After checking out the vent, he says the dryer vent needed to be replaced because it had water and a lot of trash. He said it would cost 350.00 mind you the ad says 75.oo to blow out the vent. We agree to this and he replaced the vent and we paid him. The next day, Saturday, I tried to wash clothes but couldn't because the repairmen had unplugged the washer and did not hook it back up. No big deal, right? Wrong, I had to move the dryer to get to the plug. When I moved the dryer, the vent fell out and that's when I discovered the repairmen only struck the vent in the dryer, he did not attach It to the dryer properly. So I called the company and a guy answered who I assumed was the owner. I told him the problem and he starts yelling about today is Saturday and there was nothing he could do. I told him I needed it fix and again he is yelling about today is Saturday. He says someone will call me on Monday. My daughter Who is an Attorney called him on my behalf and left a message and asked him to call her back so that we could come to some sort of resolution. He never called her or me back. No one called me Monday. I had to get someone else to purchase a ring and correctly hook the vent back into the dryer. I paid this company 350.00 for a job half done. I feel they owe me some money back.I was tempted to dispute the charge with my credit card company, But was advised by my daughter not to do that because they did do some work.

Desired Outcome

I want some the money I paid refunded. At least 100.00, since I had to pay someone else to finish the job.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but we work Mon through Friday and do not work Saturdays.
Our tech installed the system properly and everything was completed on our end. Since you moved the dryer you simply disconnected the connection hose which is connecting the dryer to the vent by a ring. That ring is very easy to connect and comes as part of the dryer install instructions for home owners. I'm sorry you had to call someone to reconnect it for you.
Please email us the receipt paid for those services you paid the repair man and we will reimburse you for those charges.

The vent was not installed with the ring. It was just struck into the dryer. Also I did not appreciate the owner yelling at me like I was a child. Further more he never called me or my daughter to resolve the problem. He said someone would call me the following Monday. My daughter also left a message for him to call her, he never did.

Did not fulfill commitment to their stated gutter cleaning process
Web site clearly lays out their gutter cleaning process, including a flush of all downspouts, leak inspection, and debris removal. They took all of ten minutes (and $210) to basically leaf blow my gutters into mine and my neighbors yard (and their own roof) and just left. When I called their number, I was given a line on how they only flush the downspouts if a leak inspection is ordered. All this after they say "we play no games. No bait-n-switch", etc. etc. Very fraudulent practices. Outright crooks in my book and they should be confronted and penalized in some way for this.

Desired Outcome

Honestly I don't feel I want anyone this dishonest to set foot on my property again, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the downspout that has been causing the backup in the first place, well it hasn't been rectified. The first big storm we have and I'm certain it'll overflow again. To come out here and do right by their "good word" would be appreciated.

As you can see on our website we have a list of prices we stand behind based on the square footage for your home which is 4142 sq ft your price was 219$ and have not changed when we arrived. This specific tech who cleaned your house gutters, cleans multiple houses a day Monday Through Saturday and all he gets its compliments.
I would be more than happy to send another technician back and rectify any issued or mess you might have on the property. When you called yesterday you did not mention anything about a mess and did not ask me so send a tech back.
Call us back and I will be happy to send someone back to make you a satisfied customer.

Rain is expected this week. If that particular downspout that was clogged (prior to your cleaning) is still obstructed, I'll notice it immediately and then contact you for a return visit. Also I'm curious as to whether the sides and rear of the building were ever addressed when your technician was here. My wife told me that he laddered the front of the building only and I find it hard to believe that with the pitch of this roof, anyone walked completely around it. I can't confirm this of course, since it's a three story climb from the rear of the building and I do not have a ladder tall enough to access it, but would be completely assured if someone with more equipment than the young tech that originally came out would have a look at it.

Peachtree staff and management are responsive, honest, and extremely customer friendly/service-oriented. I highly recommend them for cleaning service In ATL. The technicians showed up exactly on time and were professional and hard working. They took their time and were very thorough. Peachtree Cleaning provides excellent service on short notice. The cleaners were wonderful and went above and beyond our expectations.
