I contacted Appliance Service Center on December 23, to request a service call on my dryer The receptionist was professional, took my information and told me she could have a technician out on Monday, December 28th I said this was acceptable She then asked me to hold, came back on the line and said she could have someone out the next morning, Christmas Eve She said he would call between and 7:with a two hour window of arrival time The technician, Steve called a little after 7:AM and said he would be there between 8:and 10:AM He arrived a little after 8:AM, was professional and by five or ten minutes after 9:AM my dryer was fixed and working and Steve was on his way to his next call I did not expect service before Christmas but was pleased to have the appliance working I would recommend this company to anyone needing service on any appliance they service
This company gets a zero star rating from me due to the very unhelpful (shall we say "snotty") attitude of the receptionist/phone answerer Having had a tech to my house (for a non-working washing machine) on March 18th, having been told that the needed part was in stock and would take to days to get here, I called on March 30th to see if there was any information on the part The receptionist said "It's not here." I asked if there was any way to find out when it might get here She told me "It gets here when it gets here" VERY surprised to be spoken to this way, when I do think I started out in a neutral tone She told me she didn't care what I thought since I don't write her paycheck Hmmmmm....Unfortunate that owners of Miele products in Des Moines seem to be stuck with this company for some reason Since I have Miele appliances in my home, I'll be filing a complaint with Miele
