Review: We feel like this is the only option we have to take because of the lack of response we got from [redacted] Willson at Peacock Virtual Solutions. We have made several attempts to call Peacock Virtual Solutions. They did not answer their phone and did not call us back when we left a message.Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating[redacted]June 25, 2013To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in regards to a business transaction that has occurred between Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating and Crown Home Services in their dealings with Peacock Virtual Solutions. Peacock Virtual Solutions was hired and paid to design and manage the web pages for the two companies owned by Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Crown Home Services. The companies were quoted a price, terms were agreed upon, and the bill for the web page has been paid in full. On Wednesday June 19, 2013, Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating received a certified letter informing them that the main image on their website was illegally obtained and being used. The photo is copyrighted by the company Masterfile. Once the letter was received, [redacted], Vice President, scanned and emailed a copy of the letter to the owner of Peacock Virtual Solutions, [redacted]. In the email she asked more information regarding the use of the photo. In addition to sending a copy of the letter, [redacted] also placed a call to [redacted] who reassured her that the image was purchased by one of her employees named [redacted]; this information has come to be known as false. The company took actions that make us believe that the image was not actually paid for.Today June 25, 2013, at 8:45 am [redacted] placed a follow-up call with [redacted] because she has yet to hear back from anyone at Peacock Solutions. Over the weekend the photo was taken down off of the companys website without informing anyone of the actions that were being taken down. When [redacted] made contact with [redacted], [redacted] proceeded to tell [redacted] that the situation was handled because the image was removed from the companys homepage. [redacted] asked for a letter that was sent Masterfile so that the company could have documentation showing the situation had been handled.[redacted]s response was unsatisfactory and unprofessional. During the conversation with [redacted], [redacted] informed [redacted] that she did not have time to deal with the matter and would not be sending [redacted] the requested documentation showing resolution of the matter. [redacted] laughed at [redacted] and the conversation ended with [redacted] telling [redacted] she would like the letter sent over to the office and Masterfile, as well as removing the remaining copies of the image in the companys gallery on their website to be removed.We would like to see this matter resolved in a timely and professional matter. When Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating and Crown Home Services entered into the agreement with Peacock Virtual Solutions, they hired them to design and manage the website as an inclusive manner. Peacock is in the business of web design and should be aware of the legal procedures to obtain and use images. To resolve the issues, Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating and Crown Home Services will require a letter sent from Peacock to Masterfile addressing how the mistake occurred and what steps Peacock has taken to rectify the situation. Also we are requesting a letter from Masterfile letting Coeur d Alene Sheet Metal and Heating and Crown Home Services know that the claim has been dropped or paid for. We hope that this matter will be resolved in order to not pursue legal action. If legal action is required, we will pursue legal fees and any other costs incurred necessary to resolve the matter.Desired Settlement: We would like to see this matter resolved in a timely and professional matter.
