Dr. Maggio is brilliant !!!
Dr. Maggio is brilliant at what he does and he really makes a difference for those of us who suffer from pain ! I saw Dr. Maggio for Some severe mobility issues I had in my left leg because at some hip problems and he was able to improve my range of motion dramatically!!! He really takes time to listen to your symptoms and then he is amazingly able to identify the problem! I recently went back to him because I was having some other issues and although the news was not great, the fact that he is going to be able to help me and restore my mobility as well as decrease the pain is life-changing! I am so thankful that he was recommended to me because he is truly gifted!

. After years of low back issues after my knee replacement surgeries, and with the frequency of chiropractic adjustments increasing, I found myself not able to stand up straight. After going through the health analysis routine, it was recommended I have back fusion surgery (from 1 to 5 fusions). Luckily, my doctor had been working with Peak Injury Solutions and suggested I talk with them before surgery. Long story short, they found that my injuries had caused adhesion in my low back and legs that was causing the problem and surgery would only make it worse. My name is *** and I am an IT Manager/Developer. I have been working with Peak Injury Solutions for sometime now. I first came to them about a year and a half ago for my shoulder, which had a tear and was frozen. After Orthopedic doctors, several rounds of PT and rounds with a Chiropractor with laser, I decided to check them out due to no results and only answer was surgery. This was for my right shoulder and it was in bad shape. Not sure root cause, but probably from a soccer or volleyball injury. After working with them, we got my shoulder unfrozen and I was back to playing both soccer and volleyball. I feel I can swing and move my arm just as well as before my injury. I am very thankful for them and if I had chosen the route of surgery I don't think my arm would be the same. I tore a tendon in my elbow and after a cortisone shot from one doctor and a lot of rest prescribed by another doctor, the tendon finally healed. However, during the next 5 years, I still couldn't do certain things for long periods of time without being in pain, like lifting weights in the gym, bowling, driving and working. This place is awesome! I have been working in Retail for 25 years. That's 25 years of standing on my feet all day. In my younger days I did things like white water kayaking off waterfalls and inline skating down stairs. Back in 2016 I really started having trouble with my lower back. Chiropractors scare the heck out of me and a friend recommended these guys. After going through their initial recommendations I felt great. I've been able to mountain bike and run again without having trouble. I'm still on their maintenance program which helps me keep everything feeling loose. I had been experiencing sciatica pain for about a year due to a bulging L5 disc. I had completed 6 months of physical therapy with no improvement and I had an appointment scheduled with an orthopedic for a cortisone shot in my back. Thankfully I met with Peak Injury Solutions and experienced immediate results in reduction of the sciatica pain in just a few sessions. Needless to say I canceled the orthopedic appointment! After a few more sessions the sciatica pain was completely gone and I was able to bend over without pain and even get a good nights rest!

I highly recommend Dr. D. Every time I go to the office I am greeted by the receptionist and offered something to drink. I have never had to wait to get taken back. Dr. D. really takes her time and does a thorough job. She explains what she is doing and why she is doing it. I've seen the before and after pictures and it's incredible how much work has been accomplished in such a short time. She really cares about her patients! Truly a one of a kind place.

. My back when out two times in a year and I never felt such pain before in my life. After the second time I dealt with pain in my lower back every day. I tried to do very little thinking it just needed time to heal, but it never did and I found myself doing less and less with more and more pain and it started to drain me of energy and happiness. I'm a US army veteran who was medically retired after over 23 years of service. I had injuries to my neck (Torticollis) and lower back strain since entering the army in 1988. due to the physical demands I would develop much more damage to my entire spine and later damage to the spinal cord itself at all 3 levels. Over the years I would frequently go in for treatment consisting of TENNS, Ultra sound and cervical traction, acupuncture and many types of pain pills such as muscle relaxers, nerve pain pills, Oxycontin even methadone pills, they would put me to sleep about 20 minutes but I wake up in the same pain. Due to the complications of my spinal cord injuries, the side effects of the meds limited me being able to take them until I was in extreme pain. the list of damage is very long and to date nothing ever has helped relieve anything. I would describe at least 3 types of pain nerve, muscle and bone that on a good day would have a minimal pain level of 7-8. This has effected my mood activities, and life in general, not sitting, standing of even sleeping for any more that 20 minutes and no way to find relief . I had excepted this and thought this is what I have to live with. I saw a face book posts about how doctors were not treating the problem, but simply covering up my injuries with pain meds and no testing documenting of solution to address my problems. So I like their page and they responded. Peak has really changed the game for me

After a series of car accidents (5) left me with multiple disc injuries in the neck and back, I thought I just fresh out of luck. I had seen multiple chiropractors and pain management doctors, and did everything they said, but just couldn't get relief. And the pain stopped me from getting back in the gym or working on my house.

After stumbling across Peak, I had a consultation where they actually measured my range of movement and was able to pin point the problem areas. It just seems like they have a deeper understanding of where the pain could be coming instead of the 'try this' and then 'try this' from the regular doctors I had.

Dr M. and Dr H. prescribed a treatment plan that included one or two visits a week that we tracked to see improvements regularly to make sure things were moving in a positive direction and that the relief would last.

I have never seen this before, but it's almost like they actually want you to get better and see you in the office less. And every.single.appointment has been on time to see the doctor, so it makes it easy for me to schedule around work.

Most doctors string you along with endless treatments and follow up visits so they can continue to bill the insurance company.

The doctors at Peak Injury have really helped me recover from pain that has bothered me for years. I've referred my aunt and two of my colleagues from work who were complaining of chronic neck pain.

I stating going to Peak Injury Solutions around the latter part of February 2019. I have an injury from a car accident from December 2017, but have been in pain even prior to that from Bodybuilding competitions, and all the stress and wear and tear I had placed on my body. I have been to Chiropractors, several medical doctors in St Pete, Clearwater , and Tampa, and the only thing they did was either give me injections, or suggest surgery....but that was something I was very opposed to doing . My journey to get my body feeling better and not eating ibuprofen all day long 7 days a week has been long and arduous.....I wont bore you with lots of details of my day to day pain, but when I met with Dr. H. I was skeptical at first , as everyone said they could help me ...but everything I tried wasn't working , but as time has passed I have put my faith in Dr. H, and actually am feeling so much better with her treatments. I only on occasion take ibuprofen, but only periodically, and the treatments she gives me definitely has made my life more bearable , as a 60 yr old with bulging, herniated disc, ,spinal stenosis and other issues, I feel Dr. H. has taken an approach to look at my body with her treatment as a whole package and address the areas of concern I am feeling for that particular day , and I leave the office definitely feeling better than when I arrived . The treatments take time....its not just one and done ,but I am definitely feeling better since she has been working on me, and am optimistic that my years of pain .....will be significantly reduced under her treatment plan.

I've had low back and hip pain for about 10 years. Many years ago I was diagnosed with Spondylolesis (basically a slipped vertebra) at my L5/S1. for years I had an ortho injecting me with cortisone, and filling me with percocets. After picking up lifting and getting some of my muscles stronger, I fell into powerlifting. it changed my life. But unfortunately, all the heavy weights started to worsen my low back again. I couldn't sleep, I had partial use of my left hammy. I would just ignore it and ignore it. I finally came into See Dr. Hommer. After reviewing my MRI, we saw that my condition had worsened, and now had multiple bulging discs, more slippage, degeneration and compression on the discs. After just 2 months of treatment with her, I have regained sleep, flexibility, SIGNIFICANT reduction in pain, and I all around move better. THis will be my second treatment with Peak Injury. They also fixed my shoulder after and dislocation and labrum tear. TO say they are the best around in the is an understatement. I believe in what they do, I even began working for them so I can help share with the world what the practice and preach. Pills and surgery dont have to be the answer! as a former addict because of negligent doctors who dont care , I can tell you they are the best thing thats ever happened to me!

I was offered $300 by M's office not to write this review, but to me, helping other people is more important than money, and since there has only been a few reviews in the past year, I thought I would update everyone how they are currently conducting their business. I have been a legal asst. for 20 yrs & a yoga instructor for 4 yrs so I feel that I have an educated opinion on ethics & authenticity, and found out at the end of this journey that neither M. nor Brian have either. I was referred to M. by a gentleman, who said he had helped his pain, but he also had bought into this business for reasons that I can't repeat publicly (but unethical). I had tried everything from acupuncture to injections to relieve the excruciating sciatica pain down my leg & pain in my feet, to the point I gripped furniture to get out of bed in the morning. Their process is to interview you to see if you would be a candidate to be their patient. In hindsight, who wouldn't be at the age of 48? As a yoga instructor that assists in healing people, everyone probably has an adhesion in their body that could be removed. You are then sent in to see Brian to sign a very primitive looking contract, and give them the full amount for the treatment. I borrowed $2,300 from my parents and took the desperate leap of faith, praying that this time a treatment worked. The contract has a refund policy and as it was explained to me, that if the treatment didn't work, I would be refunded 12 visits of the 18 that they deemed I needed, at a reduced rate of $145. The contract also states that if M. refers you to another doctor, the refund clause would be "put into effect." Now onto the treatment part. He measures the damage in your back by setting a pencil on your lower spine, red flag number one. The treatment lasts about 15 minutes and he either scrapes at your spine with this little thing that looks like what I use to clean my pampered chef baking stone, or he had me lay on my side to press into my hip on something he feels is an adhesion.Only one time did the treatment work, and I believe it was on visit 12 (the one you're supposed to speak up at if you don't think the treatment is working, & can request a refund...coincidence'), I'll leave that to your speculation), It held for 5 days and then the pain went right back to where it always was, an 8 on a scale of 1-10. On visit 15 he deemed that he could not help me and referred me to a neurosurgeon.The neurosurgeon required a new MRI & if I wanted to be seen the next week instead of waiting a month, I had to do it quickly. M's office told me about Gateway, where you can pay $225 out of pocket for an MRI, so I charged that. The neurosurgeon's copay was $60. I sat in front of this expert who told me he had no idea why M. had sent me there. I did not have anything wrong with my discs as he had claimed, and that I have tarlov cysts that are pressing on the nerves in my lower back causing the pain. I was not a candidate for back surgery as there is no protocol in the medical world as of yet to fix them, so I'm out another $300. End of story, I asked M's office for the refund so I could seek treatment elsewhere, where yet, I don't know, but I'm praying hard about it. They refused and became hostile, and offered me $300 if I didn't write a bad review about their office, and spoke down to me about my "perception of pain". The attorney's I work with agree that they are in breach of contract, but it would cost me more to sue them, than the actual refund, so here I am. I think my advice to anyone taking the time to read this is basically this, buyer beware, count your visits & speak up if by visit 12, it is not working for you because they will not make you aware of it, as you would think, and this is where the ethics part comes into play, being the "experts", the would say, we are on visit 12 and there is no improvement, do you want to continue'" As far as the authenticity part, cross them and you will see their true selves. You will see it in their response to this review
