My experience with the Peak Legal Advocate team was less than desirable I have always paid my bills on time, however as a single parent found it to be getting a bit overwhelming After receiving correspondence by mail I decided to make a call to check out the process The salesman that represented the company was the best thing about the company After deliberation for a week, I decided to join the program Harrison Smith was the salesman and my "go to guy" for most of the process I understand he's not with the company now A great loss for Peak Legal This month I "graduated" from the program I was told I would receive my final paperwork on, or around May 14, The paperwork has yet to arrive, it is May 25th I have exchanged several emails with the company During my months with the service I have had numerous individuals representing my accounts Some I was able to speak to, some I would get an email introducing themselves, only to leave the company before I could speak with them This was my greatest disappointment with the process The lack of communication and being given inappropriate information had me wishing I had never decided to take my financial problems to this company After being in the program a year, a received a summons to court due to one of my bills I was not made aware that this was going to happen I was mortified! I have NEVER been summons or been to court The ordeal was a nightmare It was difficult for me to get in contact with representatives from Peak Legal I was given misinformation to communicate to lawyers(I wasn't even suppose to be communicating with the lawyers) Luckily, I got in touch with someone before the damage was done Extra funds were needed on several occasions I'm sure I signed some sort of paperwork to agree to this, however I didn't realize money other than what I was paying each month would be needed Thank GOD I am all paid up and out of the program! I realized my credit would take a hit, so that's another hurdle I'm facing now For these reasons, I would not recommend the services of Peak Legal Advocates

I had a creditor place a bank levy on my account and take all my money in my checking and savings. Through an inquiry on nolo.com a rep from Peak Legal Advocates reached out to me. I spoke with her 3 days after the levy and she was very comforting on the phone and said that I had a chance to get my money back but we had to act fast. I gathered all the info she requested and met her and her coworker at their office a few days later and paid them their $475 fee in cash. They said I needed to get the original Lein file from the court. I went to first courthouse who told me the other courthouse had the file. That courthouse then said it takes 48 hrs to get the copy of the file. 2 days later I went back and retrieved the file and immediately took it to Peak Legal Advocates. This was Thursday August 25 and I checked with the sheriff dept who said that I had 15 days from the levy on the 15th to submit an exemption which only gave me 3 business days left. I found it odd that peak legal did not know the exact amount of days and that I had to find out myself. I told them that I was off work the next day and so had time to bring the paperwork to the sheriff. I waited most of the day on Friday but no response so I called peak legal and she said it would not be done today but for sure on monday. On monday I received a call from a peak legal rep who asked me a bunch of questions which made me realize that they hadn't even started working on my case until the day before it was due. She finally sent me the paperwork around noon with instructions to make copies and take to sheriff's dept. I couldn't get out of work in time to get to the sheriff before they closed so I went to the local sheriff dept the next morning and they told me that the case number on the paperwork was incorrect as was the courthouse listed. Also, they said that since it was due that day I had to take it to the downtown sheriff dept. I made the corrections on all the copies and headed downtown to submit. 4 days later I received a notice from the sheriff dept that the form that was submitted was incorrect as they had put it on a wage garnishment and not a bank levy exemption and it was past the deadline so there is nothing I can do. At least peak legal recognized their mistake and gave me my money back but only $425 and not $475. They couldn't get anything right. I almost feel like they are all in cahoots with the creditors as how can one company be so inept at every turn! Another fishy thing is that the name on the check and the email address were all different. Their office looked liked they either just moved in or were about to move out as it looked temporary with no decor or people around in any of the offices or cubicles except for one person who didnt even recognize the name of the person I went there to meet. Avoid this company.

My experience with the Peak Legal Advocate team was less than desirable. I have always paid my bills on time, however as a single parent found it to be getting a bit overwhelming. After receiving correspondence by mail I decided to make a call to check out the process. The salesman that represented the company was the best thing about the company. After deliberation for a week, I decided to join the program. Harrison Smith was the salesman and my "go to guy" for most of the process. I understand he's not with the company now. A great loss for Peak Legal.

This month I "graduated" from the program. I was told I would receive my final paperwork on, or around May 14, 2016. The paperwork has yet to arrive, it is May 25th. I have exchanged several emails with the company.

During my 24 months with the service I have had numerous individuals representing my accounts. Some I was able to speak to, some I would get an email introducing themselves, only to leave the company before I could speak with them. This was my greatest disappointment with the process. The lack of communication and being given inappropriate information had me wishing I had never decided to take my financial problems to this company.

After being in the program a year, a received a summons to court due to one of my bills. I was not made aware that this was going to happen. I was mortified! I have NEVER been summons or been to court. The ordeal was a nightmare. It was difficult for me to get in contact with representatives from Peak Legal. I was given misinformation to communicate to lawyers(I wasn't even suppose to be communicating with the lawyers). Luckily, I got in touch with someone before the damage was done.

Extra funds were needed on several occasions. I'm sure I signed some sort of paperwork to agree to this, however I didn't realize money other than what I was paying each month would be needed.

Thank GOD I am all paid up and out of the program! I realized my credit would take a hit, so that's another hurdle I'm facing now. For these reasons, I would not recommend the services of Peak Legal Advocates.
