I used the Bornmann Law Group years ago and put down a large retainer When I no longer needed their services I asked for a receipt of services and a refund of any money not usedIt has been years and I still have not received either of these things I have requested a refund times in the last months, both by phone and email and never receive a response

The payment she made and complained of has been refunded. *** ***Legal Consultant** ** ***, PLC

I retained MrBornmann for a family law caseI gave $2,upfrontThis lawfirm will not return phone calls or emailsI went two months before they would return a callI finally had to contact the courts myself just to get information on my caseThe day of my hearing MrBornmann was minutes late to courtMy second hearing MrBornmann never even showed up, instead there was another lawyer whom I had never metShe had no knowledge of my case and was asking me questions about my case just minutes before we walked into courtI would not recommend this lawfirm to anyoneYou would be better off representing yourself Pro Per rather than giving this lawfirm your hard earned money

To whom it may concern at Bornmann Law Group:
In response to your response to the customer review I submitted on 8/to the Revdex.com:
In regards to the court location, I was told in the consultation meeting that all meetings would be held at the Glendale office & court appearances would be a court in the Phoenix area, not Mesa I was also told by my attorney that I could request to switch courts when I found out it was in Mesa, but he recommended I stay at the Mesa court because he really liked the judge that was handling my case and it may cause further delays Secondly, I stated from the beginning that I needed my address kept protected because my EX was already threatening me If a motion was required to be filed, why didn’t my attorney file one? And why did the paralegal change the address on the motion when we requested it? She never said at that time that the address had to be disclosed or that a motion needed to be filed to keep it protected She said they could use your Mesa business address on all documents to protect my address and made this correction but ultimately the document filed with the courts had my home address on it….an error she couldn’t explain Thirdly, I called the courts on separate occasions to find out who was responsible for notifying opposing counsel of the *** hearing and on all occasions the court representatives informed me that it was the moving parties responsibility to notify all parties required to appear and it is stated in the Notice to Appear, Rule I also called the *** *** to confirm this and they stated it is was my attorney’s responsibility to notify ** of the hearing ** also filed a Notice of Conflict stating that he was never notified of *** by petitioner or petitioners attorney It is clear that it was my attorneys responsibility to notify ** of the *** My attorney even admitted right there in the court room that his runner, ***, failed to pick up the documents in the basket outside the court room - documents that were supposed to be delivered to ** Your final comment stating “there is nothing we can do about the rest of my complaints” is just a continuation of the kind of service I received from your law firm You are failing to recognize the inconsistencies, misinformation, lack of direction and follow through demonstrated by your firm

I used the Bornmann Law Group 2 years ago and put down a large retainer. When I no longer needed their services I asked for a receipt of services and a refund of any money not used. It has been 2 years and I still have not received either of these things. I have requested a refund 3 times in the last 2 months, both by phone and email and never receive a response.

My experience with this law firm was horrible. It started with my consultation, I was never told I would not meet with the attorney, instead I met with [redacted], his paralegal. Secondly, I was told that all meetings & court appearances would take place in the NW valley or downtown court and they were not. Because the attorney was in Mesa, the meetings & court was in Mesa. [redacted] would not return my phone calls for days and when I expressed the urgency to speak to her immediately, the receptionist was very rude. When she prepared the temporary orders, she misspelled my name wrong twice and put my home address on the document. Even after asking her to remove the address, she still filed the document with the courts with the disclosure of my address for my future EX to see. [redacted] failed to notify opposing counsel of an RMC hearing so when I showed up to court, the RMC hearing did not take place because OP was not notified. [redacted] acted like it was the courts fault and offered no apologies and tried to charge me for this. Throughout this process, [redacted] failed to return calls in a timely manner, file documents with the courts in a timely manner, dressed unprofessional and acted unprofessional. Maybe he better suited for BK clients. Do not hire him to represent you in family law.
