On July 8 2019 after asking for it, I received a dated copy of the layout for my new countertop. I explained to *** M that I chose this company with the understanding that my countertop would have no seams. He assured me that yes it would have no seams. I paid them 50% down. Upon delivery, immediately when coming into my home, the man told me that the countertop has a seam because of a lack of communication within the company. They offered me compensation of $200. I said that's not acceptable. The director of sales wanted to speak with me by phone and I said lets email instead. He phoned his co-worker who was in the delivery truck and forced conversation through him on speaker to me and he has now offered $500. I now have asked for the owner to contact me but instead while writing this Revdex.com Complaint, *** M called me. Again I said that I want to work through the owner.
Mrs. H has accurately stated that she was sold a countertop that was to not have a seam. Unfortu***ly an error was made and a seam was cut into the countertop. The error was immediately brought to Mrs. H's attention. Mrs. H was given three solutions. First solution was to remake the countertop without a seam utilizing a matching granite slab. The countertop would have been reinstalled without a seam two days after the original install date. It was stated that this is the solution that we prefer. Second solution would be to keep the countertop with the seam for a discount. Third option was a full refund. Mrs. H did not feel the discount was worth having a seamed countertop and was not interested in have our company correct the error with a new countertop. A full refund was issued the day after the initial install. Peak Stone Company was in full communication with Mrs. H for the next 24 hours until a resolution was in place.
We had a great experience working with Cutting Edge Concepts on our tecent kitchen update. Sales rep Zach guided us expertly though the selection process. Team Quentin, Claudio, Christian & John did an outstanding job creating/installing the granite countertops. They coordinated the project/time well w/the plumber and expert tiler. We are very happy with our new kitchen.
