As [redacted] stated below that it was misunderstanding and confusion based on some lack of communication and an unfortunate timing for this issue. I am very glad to say that [redacted] has given me the full refund checks which are in process of deposit.
 
[redacted] also very generously offered me a pay after travel itinerary for my future travel needs and also provided me the fruit basket for me and my family as gift from Pearl USA Travel.
 
I appreciate the help provided from Revdex.com for this issue and glad to say that this issue is resolved now, I close this matter with  Pearl USA Travel on the good note. I sincerely hope that  Pearl USA Travel  will grow better in coming future ahead and their rating will go positive high in Revdex.com books.

directly by Pearl USA Travel Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [redacted] of Pearl USA Travel continued to make false promises to pay the entire $4024.00 but never did. On Dec **, 2014 he came up with an idea and sent me an email stating that he wants to charge me $250.00 for each of the four reservations that were cancelled (again these were reservations that were being cancelled not tickets as they were never issued).  So out of the $4024, he stated he would pay $3024.  I told him to go ahead and pay that $3024 and I will fight for the $1000 penalty in the small claims court. He never replied to my email and never paid anything. Moreover, he  threatened me that he will not give the refund if I report his behavior to credit and governmental agencies. Given his pattern of doing this type of dishonesty with other customers as noted in a similar complaint from one of his other passengers in Revdex.com in August of 2014, I have reported him to proper authorities. This includes the following: NYS Department of State Complaint Office, Federal Trade Commision, Office of Attorney General-Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau, Air Travel Complaint US Department of Transportation, Department of Consumer Affairs NYC, Saudi Embassy and Saudi Airlines.This agent of Pearl USA Travel talks sweet to entice customers but lacks honesty, reliability and concern for others. I will pursue to get the refund in the small claims court but I feel obligated to get this travel agent disciplined so that he doesn't victimized other innocent hajj and umrah (religious trips) passengers in the future[redacted]

Review: I booked travel for ummrah (a religious pilgrimage to Saudia Arabia) for myself, my wife, and my daughter through Junaid M[redacted] at Pearl Travel, where he is the owner, back on April **, 2015. I transferred him the money on April **, 2015. He was supposed to send us our paperwork and visas by June [redacted], 2015, however, Junaid did not even book our tickets nor our hotel or transport expenses. He did not even start the process for the visa issuance until after that timeframe of June [redacted] becasue our visas show that they were stamped for approval on June **, 2015. During this time that the visas were being processed, Mr. J[redacted] avoided our calls on his cell phone and on his business phone. In addition, there was no communication prior to Jun[redacted] that he would not be able to start the visa process on time. We received the schedule that our flight was supposedly on July [redacted] from Atlanta when in fact he made no such booking, so therefore falsely informed us. Matters got so worse that we did not receive our visas and passports until we said that we would report him to the Department of Homeland Security for withholding our passports and visas from us, and upon hearing this he decided to overnight us our documentation. Because he was unable to book our travel, he admitted his fault verbally to us and said he would reimburse us. He sent us 3 checks dated July [redacted], July [redacted], and August [redacted] each of them in the amount of $3000, for a total amounting to $9,000. In the meantime, my family and I had to rearrange and organize our travel by ourselves so that we could make it in time for the occasion we had planned for, and of course we ended spending quite a lot of money due to that. I attempted to cash the first check, which bounced, and I received notification dated July [redacted], 2015 that Juniad M[redacted] had stopped payment on this. Later on, Junaid M[redacted] called saying he had sent us the wrong checks, even though these 3 checks were Pearl Travel company checks, and because of that he said not to cash any of the other ones and he would be transferring the payment back into our account. It is now August [redacted], and we still have not received this amount of $9,000. Mr. Junaid M[redacted] is unreachable at any of the numbers he provided. I have filed a complaint with the local police station, and the FBI on the account of fraud by Mr. Junaid M[redacted]. Both the local police station and FBI asked me to submit this request to Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I hope to get a refund of my money of $9,000 as well as punitive damages. For example, I had to cover increased travel expenses due to Mr.Junaid M[redacted] not booking travel and processing paperwork late. In addition, both my wife and myself had to request additional time off from work because of the delays in travel caused by Mr. Junaid M[redacted]. Moreover, my daughter was supposed to be in Puerto Rico to apply for a very important license relating to her profession, and she had to further delay her travel plans and therefore cover extra costs. I request that these punitive charges be assessed as part of the refund due to the inconvenience and undue hardship they have caused me, my daughter, and my wife. I also request the Revdex.com to launch an investigation on the operations at Pearl Travel, especially against the Mr. Junaid M[redacted] and his business dealings, and attempt to charge him on accounts of fraud. Review: I've purchased an airfare ticket to Pakistan from above business on 08/**/2015 for the travelling date of 08/**/2015 for the amount of $1070.00. The above business returned email confirming the departure date of 08/**/2015. Mr. k[redacted] instructed to deposit the money in their [redacted] account in order to obtain the ticket for which I did. Apparently, on 08/**/2015, when I went to JFK airport and went to obtain the boarding pass, the representative stated that your name is in the system but the ticket was never issued. I called the above business to find out what is going on, He put me on hold for more 10 minutes and then [redacted]g up. Upon calling back several times, he never answered. I had no choice but to drive back 150 miles one way. I constantly tried to call and resolve the issues, but unfortunately no one has been answering. I've tried calling from different number as well but did not find any luck.Desired Settlement: All I want is the $1070.00 back. which I paid for the ticket. I would like full refund.

Review: I purchased 2 plane tickets from this company 2 months ago for 2,400 dollars to fly overseas. I paid for the tickets in cash and picked up the tickets from the location and was given phony tockets by the owner Junaid M[redacted], when I arrived to the airport I was informed by the airline that my tickets dont exist. I was met at the airport with 4 other people Junaid M[redacted] scammed. He does not answe calls nor does he vome to his office.

Review: I Bought [redacted] Ticket from Pearl Travel on December **, 2014. I was issued an invoice and ticket from them for my travel and paid via Cheque to them. The ticket seem valid when issued and has a record at [redacted] site as well.

I checked again on February **, 2015 and was not able to trace my ticket record on [redacted] site; PNR # [redacted]. Upon checking with [redacted] I was advised that my ticket is being cancelled by Travel Agent. I am since then trying to contact [redacted]) and [redacted]). They initially promised to issue a ticket within 90 minutes as there was some system issue but since then they have stopped responding to my calls. The Emails sent to them are neither been responded either.

I want my ticket to be issued on same dates (March **, 2014) as I cannot defer my travel furtherDesired Settlement: I need my ticket to be issued (for which I have already Piad) (Before March **, 2014) or issued a refund.

Review: On May [redacted] 2014 I contacted [redacted] based travel agency (Pearl USA Travel INC) referred by a friend here in Connecticut for buying 4 Air Travel tickets for me and family and got the quote of 4600 dollars from [redacted] of Pearl USA Travel Inc.Before making any payment I had him acknowledge all the terms and conditions for change and cancellation via email (all email came from his company email address). As per the contract and agreement If travel dates are changed before the 30 days of travel there will be no penalty and if the tickets are cancelled before 30 days there will be no charge for cancellation and amount is fully refundable (My travel plan was ** Nov 2014 to **-Jan-2014). On May [redacted] 2014 I paid the amount of 4600 dollars to his company account via bank transfer through bank of America (Deposit receipt is available) and he sent me the payment receipt on his companys receipt (the receipt is available). He issued me the e-tickets on May *, 2014 and sent me the link to print e-tickets. (Printed tickets are available)On May [redacted] 2014 I contacted him as I had to change the travel plan and wanted to cancel the tickets. I could not find him so I checked the airline web site with e-ticket reference, the tickets were not available there, I contacted the Airline and provided the reference number and I was advised that these tickets are cancelled on * may 2014. Later on the same day he got in touch with me and advised that he is out of country for his mother funeral. I waited on him to come back and I realized that these tickets are already cancelled by him and I cannot trust him anymore, therefore, on May ** 2914 I asked him to cancel my tickets and pay me the full refund. Ever since then he has been avoiding my calls and emails and voice messages and not paying me back my money but giving me the runaround. All email communication record is available. I believe he has been fraudulently holing my money and using it for his business and giving me the runaround from almost whole month now and not paying me back my money. Please help me get this money back.Desired Settlement: Full Refund of 4600 dollars as per the agreement and contract against cancelled tickets.

Review: On or abouts October ** 2014, [redacted] of Pearl USA Travel collected from me a refundable deposit of $4000 to reserve 4 tickets for umrah. Upon changes in my plan, on November **, 2014, he agreed to refund the entire amount as the tickets were not issued and umrah date was about 2 months away. First he gave me a run around to get the refund for about 10 days. Then, on November **, 2014 , he finally issued me 2 checks in the amount of $2000 each and requested me to deposit one check on November **, 2014 and the other check on November **, 2014. It turned out that he stopped payment on both checks and I was charged 24.00 for the returned checks.Desired Settlement: Need a certified check from [redacted] of Pearl USA Travel in the amount of $4024

Review: I purchased 4 return tickets of Qatar Airline from [redacted] of Pearl Travel located at [redacted] on October [redacted], 2014. I paid him full amount of $5290 and deposited cash in his bank account on 10/**/14. First he gave me a run around for a week to issue the ticket. He eventually gave me a ticket number. In the good faith I did not verified it with the Airline. However, a month later when I called Airline on 11/** to order kids meal, I discovered that there were no tickets anymore. I called him again and he gave me another ticket number a day later. Unfortunately, the same day, a family medical emergency occurred. I called him on 12/*/2014 to notified him about this emergency and he asked me to provide the doctor note to start the refund and cancellation process, which I did. Since then he was difficult to reach out and after several attempts he gave me a deadline of 12/** for the refund. This never happened. I sent him a letter via [redacted] and email the same on 01/**/2015 demanding my money by 01/**/15, which never happened either. I was able to find a contact in his neighborhood who paid him a visit to find out about the refund. He told him that he has not received the refund from Airline. He further said that he would pay back the money with $250/ticket cancellation charge as he is still waiting for the money back from the Airline. I have checked the Airline and they confirmed that the ticket was void and cancelled on 01/**/14, which is the same day when I notified him about the trip cancellation. He then gave a check in the amount of $4290 ($1000 less than what I paid him) which was returned by the bank due to non-sufficient funds and cost me $12. I tried to contacted him several times and at one point he mentioned that he has no money. I paid him a visit on 01/**/2015 and he told me the same thing that he is still waiting for the money from the airline. I challenged his claim and he gave another date of 02/**/15 by which he will pay back the money. Since then, he is not reachable most of the time and not responding to my calls/text and when I am able to get hold of him, he'd give me a new deadline. He is obviously not honoring any of the deadlines and not willing to pay back the money.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the complete refund plus the return check fee ($5290+$12) $5302 from him in cash or certified check. He can deposit the cash in the bank account, the information of which was provided to him numerous times.

Review: I bought 4 return international tickets from Pearl Travel USA, Inc and paid the amount in full via check. I received the confirmed e-tickets from them and I also confirmed the itinerary on the airline website. Everything looked OK till this point.

But few days later when I checked the confirmation on airline website again, those tickets were cancelled/void within 24 hours of purchase. I called the airline customer service and came to know that the Pearl Travel USA, Inc agent has purchased these tickets via Chicago based travel company and within 1 day they cancelled those e-tickets. On top of that, Pearl travel agent DID NOT inform us about the cancellation of these tickets which shows that this was the deliberate move by them. When I contacted this travel agency, they were not responding initially. After several call attempts by me, they came up with excuses. Upon request to refund me my money, the [redacted] so called ([redacted]) told me that he will refund my money asap and I should be receiving my full refund the next day but since then he is not reachable.

He has 3 complaints already on Revdex.com website within the span of 6 months. It looks like he will be threatening me later to close this complaint or deducting cancellation fees (that never existed because of non payment to airline). In short, he would do whatever he can, not to give a refund.

Apart from 3 Revdex.com complaints, I came to know that there are many other consumers, who got trapped by this company and may be later when he gets exposed by affected consumers, he and his partners may come up with a different company name with a different bank account/website/Advertisement.
