In March 2018, I called Pearle Vision requesting a price on a specific type of lenses and an exam. The manager named Chis quoted me a price of which I confirmed with him a couple of times during my phone conversation. Later the same day I made a point to stop at their location in the Lycoming Mall so Chris could look at my glasses to determine if the would accommodate the lens I was looking for. I was then quoted a different price for the lenses, $300 more. When I confronted him he had no explanation for the discrepancy. Chis then tried to sell me a package deal which was just over $100 more than the original quote. To anyone who deals with Pearle Vision, beware and get a written quote.

I paid for and ordered 2 pairs of prescription glasses at Pearle Vision on January 9, 2018 after my appointment. It took 4 weeks to get one pair (after being quoted it would only take 10-14 days) and I was never informed by the company that my glasses had arrived. If I had not been vigilant on my own, I never would have known my first pair was available. My second pair is still not ready (it has now been 6 weeks as of Feb 13, 2018) and I have yet to have any idea of where my glasses are. The manager refuses to return my phone calls and the corporate office says the only thing they can do for me is encourage the manager to call. When I call the store, the only responses I get from employees are “I don’t know what to tell you, the truck hasn’t come” and “there’s been issues at the lab and many people have been fired”. Pearle Vision also offers 30 days after purchase to have free repairs if I have any issues. Well, it’s taken over 30 days to receive one pair of my glasses and no one will respond to me as to what occurs if I do have a problem with the new prescription. I am overall very disappointed in this whole experience.

I have spoken to *** several times, we have indeed gotten her glasses to her and as good measure I have also made *** another pair,free of charge. We were experiencing lab issues, which have since been corrected. At no point, did I refuse to call *** back. The last time I spoke with her, when I offered her the free pair she was very happy.
