In addition the piping that came with the owner provided softener is not approved by code. We are licensed by the state of Illinois and can only install approved materials.

Customer was charged for a plumber and a helper at 6.1 hours of work @ $219 per/hour totaling $1316 for labor and $207 for parts.

there has been no response at all from Pearsons. I paid the bill in order to keep my high credit rating. This was on Jan. 30, 2015. On Feb 7, 2015 I called Pearson's and [redacted] rooted the drain in the basement with the camera and blade and it took 3 hours. I was charged $396.00 for labor and materials. On Feb 9, 2015 I called again and Pearsons removed the garbage disposal, repiped the drain valve and ran the line for the icemaker and hooked it up, with labor and materials 252.00. This is no where NEAR the $219.00 you say you charge per hour. Your $219 charge is bogus and NOT ACCEPTABLE. THIS BILL IS BOGUS AND THE PREVIOUS CHARGES TELL IT. I DO NOT ACCEPT THE INFORMATION AS GIVEN. If you DID just raise yur labor charges that much in such a short time, I have a right to know this ahead of time. to go to her home in May 15, 2017 to do a Preventative maintenance tune up on
her air conditioner and insure that it will be ready for that season.  We’re

This review is for service performed by Carroll Pump and Well Service on May 31, 2016.

I called Carroll Pump and Well Service on Thursday, May 26th to request non urgent service on our pump and well. Mr. [redacted] asked if the middle of the next week would be soon enough. I was in no hurry at all and we agreed that he would call when he got an opening, probably the middle of the next week. He called Tuesday, May 31st after a Monday holiday. We agreed that he would come on over.

[redacted] and his helper [redacted] arrived in about a half an hour. They went right to work diagnosing our problem, keeping me informed along the way. A very high current requirement indicated a stuck pump. [redacted] gave me firm prices for up to 300 feet and beyond 300 feet of well depth. He also told me there would be an extra per foot charge for any wire which needed replacing. I was pleased with the price and asked them to fix it. They left to get a pump and the needed truck.

About 45 minutes later they returned with everything they needed to do the job. They pulled the 300 feet of pipe out of the well and separated it into 40 feet sections laid out on the ground. They installed new pipe connectors and spacers before putting the pipe and new pump in the well. By 2:30pm we had water gushing from the well. Surprisingly, at least to me, it took no replacement wire.

After they had water running at the house they found and repaired a leak in the house plumbing. They also replaced the filter. They also suggested that since the well had been sitting for a while it be chlorinated which they did.

When it came time to pay I expected the pump price we agreed on, plus leak repair, plus filter, plus chlorination. It was not. It was all included in the original pump price. Outstanding!

[redacted] and [redacted] were knowledgeable, friendly professionals who did a great job in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I will call them the next time I need well work and recommend them.
