My [redacted]'s name is [redacted] NOT [redacted]...AND HE WAS A CLIENT AT STONECREST! [redacted] IS [redacted]'S [redacted].
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2016/04/05) */
Sorry for the delay. I needed to get a copy of [redacted]'s invoice from the accountant. For [redacted] please see the attached [redacted]'s letter and a copy of her invoice for February.

We are responding to the complaint made by Ms. [redacted]. We are required to inform you that [redacted] was a [redacted]. The amount of $[redacted] that [redacted] has identified paying to Stonecrest for...

her [redacted] to attend our programs is incorrect. I have attached her February Invoice as evidence. You will notice 2 charges on the invoice, one for Day Program and one for Respite Services. The [redacted] services are charged after the service is rendered. Also, the Board of Directors sent out a letter dated December 22, 2015 informing parents that they must provide 30 days notice before withdrawing their child from our programs. I have attached a copy of this letter that went out with the January Invoices.

My official response to the the statement to Stonecrest Empowerment Society of Nova Scotia.
I was a [redacted] till Feb 16th when [redacted] . Also reported to [redacted] that I was taking my [redacted] from the program due to [redacted] . As of January they had tacked on a 10% increase to the rate of [redacted] which amounts to [redacted] which [redacted] stated in her statement was suppose to be for [redacted] services which there was none in February as was on the statement she had sent. plus 15 % tax which which added up to $[redacted] Sorry for the [redacted] omission. As for the 30 day notice for to take said client from this service I had not signed anything in that respect . As for me asking for a refund for half of February that he didn't attend there was no staff there to take care of my [redacted] with [redacted] or any staff at all until a few days later . So I am asking for a refund of the last two weeks of February
Thank you
Regards

For [redacted], we do not charge [redacted] until services are rendered. On January 27th, 2016 at 12:34pm, the accountant received an email from the [redacted], stating that [redacted] had additional [redacted] to be billed on her next invoice (February). These additional [redacted] hours amounted to the $[redacted] charge. These [redacted] services were [redacted] at the end of January and needed to be recouped from her next invoice. As [redacted] was also a [redacted], she was aware from [redacted] that [redacted] services would only be charged once [redacted] was rendered and she was also in attendance of the meetings discussing that the 10% was not for [redacted] but to bring current clients closer to the new fees without drastic increases. The board decided to increase amounts slowly, hence the 10% increase. The 15% is for HST as we are required to be compliant with the [redacted]

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2016/04/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The explanation that [redacted] has come back form Stonecrest point of view is not true I had no [redacted] services after the first two weeks of January as it was costing too much could get it cheaper form others. This is directly form a letter that [redacted] sent out as [redacted] of Stonecrest.[redacted] . As I have stated I paid the [redacted].00 I paid in advance and [redacted] is trying to say the extra [redacted] is for [redacted] not true . they are grasping at straws as they don't want to pay back the money that is owed to the parents .
