Dear Pechmann Owner:
This letter is to complain about service I recently received from Pechmann Memorials Inc. customer service. I called Pechmann Memorials Inc. on 8/4/2014 and 9/30/2014 to find out about the status of the memorial I purchased for my Dad, [redacted] After I inquired about the memorial the first time, I was informed there was a large project being worked on and it would be completed toward the end of August. I therefore decided not to bother calling again, as the service was rude and I did not want to be treated rudely again. Then, I received a call from [redacted], the St. Mary’s Church cemetery representative in Pine Bluff, WI, informing me of the plan to place my dad’s memorial Wednesday October 1, 2014. That is when I called Pechmann’s on 9/30/14, to inquire if I could be there. Again the customer service was poor. I was told no as the plans may change due to the truck breaking down or weather conditions. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated and disappointed.
This all occurred from when I placed the order on 6/2/2014 with a date stated on the contract (drawn up 6/21/2014) as, “to be completed as soon as possible or within a reasonable time thereafter.” 11 weeks plus is not what I would call “reasonable” nor in the time frame of 6-8 weeks, which I was given during the call I made 8/4/2014. A phone call at any time during this process, by someone at Pechmann, should have been done.
I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience.
