Peck's Market

Review: Peck's Market has become a horrible place to shop I don't even like to go there at all. All the employees are very rude and nasty they all stand around the registers doing nothing except talking with each other like it isn't their job that its their hang out spot. It is sad, over 3 years ago it wasn't this bad it has gotten worse over time, they don't care about the customers at all. For instance when they should be ringing my groceries up they are just chatting with each other ignoring me the customer who they don't realize if it wasn't for the customer like me buying products they wouldn't have a job in the first place. I ask they to bag the items with care yet they don't listen they just throw the items in the bag and fill it as full as possible. It is common sense to not put bread with cans that can crush the bread, but do the Peck's Market employees of Eldred, NY care? No they don't they put the bread in the bag and heavy things on top of it. The same with the meats they will put a bloody thing of beef in with toilet paper, they just don't care. And you tell them over and over again not to do that yet they don't care. They are just extremely mean and nasty and its not just one or two employees it is the whole store now I have told the managers and they are worse they have the worse of attitudes [redacted] is so nasty to all the customers and she trained the other [redacted] below her to be the same way. And the Store Manager [redacted] is even worse he doesn't do a thing about it until you have to call [redacted] the Manager of all the Peck's and he will pretend that he cares and says he will take care of the problem. Yet when you go back to the store it just gets worse each time the employees think of Peck's not as there job that they are suppose to service the customer, but as their hang out and that you the customer are interfering with their day. Its not just their attitudes either their pricing the price tags say one price and they charge you a higher price & items go bad within2days etc...Desired Settlement: I would like to have the old Peck's back that it was 3years ago get employees that care. They need to start clean with a new set of staff. I would Also Like my money back for the items I bought that they wouldn't let me return because they had the wrong price tags in place and wouldn't return my products within the 3minutes of buying them I bought meat from there that went bad in 2days & salad bad in 1day. All cool items there go bad in 1-3days I just want my $back they owe me $12.00 at least

For weeks. I've ordered food from the deli in this market. I call ahead and order my food. They write it down. 6 out of 10 sandwiches were messed up. I order a simple bacon egg and cheese. They add lettuce to it. When you call them to tell them about the problem and ask to talk to the store manager, the manager practically ignores you and hands the phone off to a worker every time like he doesn't want to hear it. The last time I had a messed up sandwich that I waited for them to make, they messed it up. I was the only person there this time. When I got home and noticed. I called. The store manager handed me off to someone else and the problem was not fixed. As usual. However. This time. After I called. An employee named [redacted] made a [redacted] status about "if we always make up your sandwich maybe you should stop ordering". Now. All six times I was not an angry customer. There is no reason the store employees should be targeting me because they can't give me what I asked and paid for. So. Here I am. Making a complaint to you guys in hopes someone goes about contacting the store owner and letti,g him know about such problems since the store manager won't acknowledge them and the discrimination I feel they have against me because I complain when they mess up an order. I expect to get what I paid for and pecks does not give you that. So. After this. I'm contacting other agency's and possibly my lawyer and newspaper if the discrimination is still apparent and not taken care of. Thank you for your time.
