This all started with *** ordering a set of hand controls for her husband Our company took her
order shipped out the product the same day *** Ground *** called a few days later, “saying they had not received the hand controls” I tried to track the tracking number through *** on line, and it did not work So, I called *** and had them investigate, they could not find the package *** said it might have been disrupted in the network to give it a couple a days and driver would probably get the package delivered I called *** and told her what I found out, and if she doesn’t receive it in the next or two I would send her another set Two days later *** calls in the morning and tells me they have not received their product that she is thinking about canceling the order, because they need the hand controls right away I told her I would overnight her set that day, which costs our company $in shipping costs Before *** got here to pick up the package, *** called and told me they had received the original package So, I pulled the package back so *** would not reship the hand controls, but the label was already admitted and charged to our company In about to days *** calls and says she is sending the original set back to our company, because it will not work for her husband Our policy is she receives a full refund minus the shipping and handling charges Her purchase price was $385.00, so her refund would be minus the shipping and handling charges that were $total We refunded her $300.00, so we were sticking by our policy Because she made it so urgent to receive them right away, I had to overnight the second set, we incurred the extra costs of $ Our company would have eaten that cost if they would have kept the original package But because they turned around the sent them back so quickly, we are not liable to cover their shipping and handling costs.
