In response to Mr***s concerns about being charged a late feeWe have never charged a late fee to anyone in this practiceIt is not our policy to charge those types of fees for any reasonThe charges I believe he is referring to were ones that were in error as we found out
that his insurance did not fall into our networkI spoke with him on April 6, and explained what happened and that his insurance did pay and I also allowed the write offs that he would normally receive as if we were in network with insuranceI also gave him an additional **% discount on the restoration services that were performed that he had that were creating a balance on his account in apology for any inconvenienceHe seemed satisfied and pleased with the resolution. On November 6, he was sent a statement for $*** it was not a late fee, it was one date of service when the original write offs were taken that was missedI corrected the account immediatley and his family now has a zero ($0) balance. I am sorry Mr*** was unhappy and I did apologize for our errors and thought we had come to a satisfactory resolution.
