This patient presented with a severe Class Malocclusion, with a 90% overbite*** *** was aware prior to the beginning of treatment that even with utilization of a functional appliance, all malocclusion's do not treat out to an "ideal occlusion." In addition, both *** *** and her son
were told that in order for the treatment to be successful, conscientious elastic wear would be necessary during treatmentThis patient was not compliant with the elasticsAs a measure of good faith, this practice is willing to refund to *** *** 2370.00, which represents 67% of her out of pocket cost

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in I wanted to speak to someone regarding the above complaint (#***) Although I THOUGHT that this had been resolved, the dental office has still not forwarded the agreed upon amount to me ($2,370.00) They sent me a letter dated December 8, that stated that they were refunding the money as a "measure of good faith" and that it did not "in any way represent an acknowledgement of poor treatment or malpractice" I promptly signed the letter and returned it to their office WELL OVER A MONTH AGO and I have still not received payment
