I am rejecting this response because:The problem with Mr. [redacted]'s presentation of his services, he places heavy emphasis on his prior FBI experience, with a so-called expertise in Forensics. Suggesting his clients can expect a level of service which reflects this bountiful background. [see his LinkedIn] Profile for one.]My problem is not only that the information he provide I had already collected from the numerous "[redacted]" sites online, but that the only time he or his wife bothered to reply to my numerous e-mails & phone calls was after you (Revdex.com) was contacted. This didn't even give me a chance to explore the possibility of a more sophisticated options.Simple, clients request to hear back from you, and you give the courtesy of a reply!No problem, I make sure that [redacted] & the other Review sites get just that from me; a fair and honest Review of the lack of courtesy I received from Mr., [redacted] & wife.  One would also expect a written contract as to (exactly) what service they provide. I never received a written contract from Mr. [redacted].Word to the wise, anyone doing business with Mr. [redacted] ..., GET IT IN WRITING!!Thank you Revdex.com, I think I've made my point. Hopefully others will learn from my mistake!!

Mr. [redacted] engaged us to try to locate a prior tenant of his rental property who did not have full identifiers. We agreed to attempt to locate the tenant and have previously been successful at such for Mr. [redacted]. We charged a discounted flat rate of $500. It is of course not guaranteed that a person...

can be located for this price as people might take steps to avoid being located or simply not have recently done anything where their current whereabouts would be in public records or our specialized databases. Our work was done in a timely manner. We confirmed with Mr. [redacted] on 8/4/2015 we would attempt to locate the tenant. We provided him with an update on our efforts via email on 8/11/15 and advised it would probably require an additional week. He replied with a thank you. We did not locate any relevant records for the tenant so waited to recheck records days later at no additional cost. On 8/27/2015 we sent him our report via email, which included a last known address for the tenant and had not heard further from him until now.

The above referenced complaint information was forwarded to me by the admin person at [redacted]. I am sorry Mr. [redacted] feels he did not receive value, but he was provided with the information available from every information resource available to any investigator. Our fees are based on a flat rate or hourly rate and are not dependent on successfully locating someone. We incurred fees for the use of our specialized databases that report credit information, utility usage and phone data. Unfortunately, the folks he is trying to locate have no updated information in any of these records. We even went beyond our typical service and what was contemplated for the minimal fee we charged and waited a few weeks, checking the records again in the event an event triggered a new reporting. While our services successfully located a person Mr. [redacted] previously sought to locate, we were not successful this time.

I was unable to complete my comments sent to you via reply to [redacted]s response. Frankly, I made a mistake by not requiring Mr. [redacted] to submit a contract to me for signature, detailed to mg his services. The bottom line is his service, or lack thereof, was abysmal, unworthy of the $500 Fee charged, and certainly below the quality suggested in his advertisement of previous service rendered.   I will be satisfied for you to list this legitimate complaint in your files, so that you are aware of this company's behavior, should a similar case be referred in the future. I say this only because I feel the learned Mr. [redacted], knew the consequence of my not getting a written contract. So from that standpoint, I probably have no standing to pursue this, except to make sure the Revdex.com is at least aware of what I consider to be very poor service and follow-up by this firm.Thank you for you due diligence.[redacted]
