practice got paid twice. refuses to issue refund. tells bank refund was issued.I took my 6 year old son to get his school shots early August, I didn't have my insurance card with me (even though I had the group number and the member id) but they asked me to pay 757 USD and once my card is issued, they will "refund" my money and submit an insurance claim. less than a week later, I got my insurance card and asked them to use it and issue my refund. 1 week later (August 25th) they were paid by my insurance carrier! Since then, I been calling almost every week to check on my refund and a different excuse is given. Last Thursday, they promised to send the check that day but they never did. Once I was assured that this business billing is a scam, I disputed the charge with my credit card company; To my surprise, they send documents that my refund was issued!!!! So, I called them yesterday asking about the refund, they answered that until the dispute is resolved, they will not issue a refund. So, They took my money, refuse to pay it back and when I dispute it, they tell American Express that they issued the refund and when I call to inquire about it they say "until the dispute is resolved we will not issue a refund" a scam artist at work. the main point is keeping my money as long as they can and not releasing it! This is theft, shady practice and is wrong. I called several times trying to talk to a live person but they keep sending me to the general voice mail that I am sure no one listens to. This business stole my money and never want to pay it back! This customer paid for services with a credit card and later filed an insurance claim and was concerned that he was paying twice for services. He has since disputed the credit card charge and the money was returned to him. Since we did not receive payment from Mr [redacted], the practice does not owe this customer a balance at this time.
