I am rejecting this response because:
1) I brought the kit because I did not have 800.00+ to spend on the treatment at that specific time and used a credit card to purchase the kit2) As a home owner I believed that it was best to have "professionals" follow behind me in the event that I missed something.
3) If records of phone calls were kept, then Peerless would know that I called many times and spoke to their agent
4) I have always maintained that I did not think my house was clear of bed bugs and but was always assured that I can't possibly have them5) The day I found the bed bug, I called PeerlessI stand by my word that the agent was rude and did not offer a solution or reduced priceI am reasonable woman who is not looking for anything free I have contracted another company to perform a service that Peerless should have doneAnd, unfortunately for me, Peerless did not I have never complained about a company before this incident

In response to complaint dated March 24th, 2016, from *** ***, we are disputing her claimPeerless offers a day guarantee on all bed bug treatments when an entire property is treatedPeerless performs two treatments, an initial and one follow up approximately two weeks following the
initialOn room only treatments there is no guaranteeMs*** had a full treatment to her property 09/10/and her follow up on 09/22/We performed a third treatment on 10/05/which was a complaint visitShe had bought a new couch and had gotten bittenHer total cost for treatment was $864.00, not the $she is reporting to you.On 03/22/nearly five and one half months later, Ms*** called to say she found a bed bug and insisted we come out to retreatShe was told by MrsW*** that her warranty has expired and that it appears she has reinfested her home and a new treatment would be necessary, Ms*** got very upset and hung up saying she was going to report usAs you may be aware bed bugs are an everyday occurrence in our society todayThey are just about everywhere, on buses, in hotels, in the work place and so onThey are hitchhikers and therefore they get picked up on our clothing and get carried aboutThey travel through walls from neighboring properties and it is impossible to prevent the possibility of a bed bug infestation from occurring in ones residenceMs*** works in a hospital where it is possible she is picking up the bed bugsIt has been almost six months without any problems reported to us.Peerless Pest control has been in business for nearly sixty-six years and has an excellent reputation with virtually no complaints on recordWe follow standard procedures that are practiced industry wide and use all EPA labeled products for the treatment of bed bugsWe pride ourselves on customer service and try to go beyond to satisfy our clientsPeerless relies on word of mouth for its growth.In closing Peerless feels that we operated in the proper manner and that Ms*** re infested her property.If you feel you need to contact me, I may be reached at 215-324-4719Thank you in advance:Peerless Pest Control

In continuationApril 14, 2016I am in receipt of the follow up response and must still disagree with the clientMs*** is well aware that it is next to impossible to prevent a reinfestation of bed bugsThat is why after trying to solve the issues on her own with our bed bug kit, she choose to hire us to do her treatmentIf we did not know what we were doing and was so unhappy, then why choose us to treat her home, We stood by our warranty that we provide and have not heard from here in some time, Our computer system keeps track of customer callsIf Ms*** has been calling us there would have been notes entered in the system, just like the notes we have on file from here treatmentsWiwarranty we would have made as many treatments as necessary or look further into the reason for her so called continuing problem to have a positive outcomeBeing in business for over years and never having to address an issue like this and respond to a written complaint shows we care about our customers, our work and about the reputation of our company.On rudeness, when people do not get there way, attitudes changeBed bugs are part of environment now; they are in just about every state in the country and is possible for just about any person to pick upIn conclusion we have many of thousands of satisfied customers and praises of customers for caring and understanding on this very difficult situation of bed bugs, there is nothing further we can do for this customer, We would have possibly tried to work with her on a reduced price but she choose to go elsewhere
