Ms. [redacted]'s medical records indicate that Ms. [redacted] received treatment and experienced symptoms prior to purchasing our coverage. The policy contains a preexisting condition limitation for conditions existing prior to the effective date. Consequently, we are upholding our decision in this matter.

This company refuses to communicate on any human level.  I understand the terms of my insurance deductible, I am not disputing that.  My issue is that the policy advertises a 50 dollar copay at urgent care facilities.  However when the customer actually goes to the urgent care facility the insurance is not accepted.  If they do not have a network of providers within my area they should not be allowed to sell me a policy.  One would think that if this was not a scam they would have provided me with information on where I should have gone instead of the ER.  A legitimate company would want to clear up this issue in hopes of future repeat business.  I am willing to settle for refund of my premium which is far less than my hospital bill.  I guess they need this $500 more than I do.

I called HCC telling them that I was in pain and asking for help locating a dentist on their network. They said there were only two in my area. One is in [redacted] which is 60 miles from my house, way too hard for my disabled husband to take me to. And I tried to call the other one in [redacted] , Dr. [redacted] and the office told me he retired years ago. I decided to use my right to go off network as the HCC agent told me that I am entitled to and he did not mention that I am only covered if the dentist sees me within 24 hours.  So I used my husband's dentist because HCC assured me on the phone on a recorded line that I will be reimbursed up to 250 dollars. There is no such thing as ER for dental problems, it was impossible to get treatment within 24 hours, especially with HCC giving me listings of dentists that are either retired or living very far. The only option I had was the dentist of my husband. I was able to get appointment for the 23 of September and they began to treat me immediately with antibiotics and pain killers. They told me to come back the next day to have the tooth extracted because the surgeon would be there that day. I am very disappointed with HCC giving me the wrong information and daring to continue to question the validity of my dental emergency. This is shocking and offensive. I was treated within 48 hours. Perhaps if HCC would have sent me to a dentist that is not retired and within 50 miles from my home I could have been treated within the 24 hour time frame they desired. It is a shame that I am being penalized due to their lack of updated information and their customer service representatives ineptitude. Regards,[redacted]

I got home at 5:30 in the evening and my thermostat was reading 81 degrees. I panicked. A friend had recommended Kenny Peffer. I took a shot and called the number on the card. I was hoping at best for a service call the following day. Not only did Kenny answer the phone but he was at my house in an hour. He got me cool for the night and had his crew out the following morning. A/C is working great and I found his pricing was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Peffer A/C to anyone!

Was recommended to Peffer Heating & Air by a co-worker. I must say, I was impressed. Not to often these days a service person shows up at the time they promised you. But Kenny [redacted] did. I had a terrible wobbling noise coming from my a/c blower in the attic. Most internet forums and another local HVAC company told me the blower wheel was out of balance and needed replacement. Easily a $ 200.00 job or more. Kenny inspected my attic blower fan to find there was a couple of loose screws holding the access door of the wheel. Tightened the screws and voilà ! System never made another sound. Quiet as could be. I was elated ! Then, while looking at my duct routing showed me a couple of issues that need attention. The previous installer zip tied all the ductwork together. Looks nice, but makes condensation between the ductwork. Not good. Especially after I just dealt with a termite issue. Kenny told me what needed to be done should I choose to. No pressure at all. The best part is that he only charged me basically gas money to come out since he really did not have to change the blower wheel. I ended up giving him a $20.00 bill. A lot better than $ 200.00 plus to change that wheel !!! Kenny [redacted] is my new HVAC vendor. Honest and on time !
