Peje Tire shop

Review: Peje Tire Shop was contracted to repair and paint my 2007 [redacted] but the service was inferior. After returning the vehicle four times the owner, Peje Tire Shop was unable to properly repair the vehicle. The paint job has hair in the paint which he could not explain. There was drip marks along the door handles because he failed to remove the door knobs of the car prior to painting. There is paint on the moldings around the doors and headlights because he failed to remove them prior to painting. There is paint mist on the windows because he failed to cover the windows prior to painting the car. I now have to take it another shop to have it properly painted after paying Peje $1,500. In addition Peje failed to repair my front bumper, paint the hood of my vehicle, and compensation me for my[redacted] core battery.Desired Settlement: Requesting a refund of my payment. The return of my front bumper and[redacted] core battery.

Review: Vehicle was dropped off at 1133 Peje tire shop location with all parts necessary for the said repairs/installation with the agreement that id pay according to what repairs are being done over a span of 2 months. One month into the repairs only a portion was done of the work in which at the time I made a $200.00 payment so that he(the owner) can proceed with the completion of the job being performed.I agreed that once the job was completed that I should then make the final payment of $140.00 and I should pick up vehicle which the owner stated was fine to just stop by with the remainder of the money I owed that the vehicle was ready to go. On thursday Oct.9th of 2014 at approximately 4:30 pm after I got off from work I made arrangements to pick up the vehicle with a fellow co-worker since I was going to drive my vehicle currently being repaired away. I asked the owner to get the car ready for me to take which he at the time replied that the vehicle wasnt starting due to electrical issues and wasnt making eye contact and wasnt being sincere. At this instant I approached my vehicle which was placed outside so I can do a simple inspection of the work expected to be done and I discovered that the work after all this time had not been completed. This is just a secondary vehicle that I had work being performed on so I gave the owner of the shop a reasonable amount of time without interupting while still making payments to ensure him that I had no intentions to abandon my vehicle for any reason. At this point I told the owner that id pay whatever work was done but that I would be going elsewhere for the rest of the repairs and he became irate and adamantly denied. At this time I called the police due to being threatened by the owner as he stated "that he knows where I live and work!" and that my car isnt going anywhere tonight. At the officers arrival the owner stated that the keys to none of the surrounding vehicles could be found including my original car key so that I had no choice but to wait.Desired Settlement: A fair desired settlement to me would be to be compensated for the untimely repairs of $340.00, a refund for gas and travel expenses of approximately $60.00, $3,000 for the distress caused to me and my family due to the verbal threats made by the owner and for the owner to be disciplined for improper repair and practices and volatile behavior at a place of business. I strongly believe this business doesnt have a license through the state to perform repairs or services and shut be shut down.
