What Miss *** explained is correct, her vehicle was not complete on Wednesday, due to lack of parts. however, there never is a guarantee on the timeline, due to parts availability. Unfortunately, we ordered the parts and someone at the jobber cancelled the order (we aren't sure
why). It was our fault for not contacting Miss *** to which I apologized to her. she was not happy with the apology. I have never reimbursed a customer for "gas money or money they lost for missing work" I don't feel that it is my responsibility to cover those costs for a customer. I offered Miss *** a $discount to which she laughed and said no way. I feel bad for her but I don't feel I owe her the $she said she missed out on. that's not my responsibility to pay for customer's "missed work" or "gas fees". The discount I offered ($20.00) is still available to her if she wishes, but nothing else.

due to the fact that the parts were not delivered to us in a timely manner from our jobber, I cannot offer any discounts, I have apologized to her but she never acknowledged that. If there is a problem with her repairs she should bring it back to us to correct, I will not pay for someone else to fix something that was perhaps our fault. I understand that she was upset with us for not contacting her regarding the time frame of the job but this whole thing got way out of hand. if she has a problem with the job we did we will correct it at no charge for her, but I don't feel I have to reimburse her for her time lost. I am sorry that this whole thing happened but if she had gone thru an insurance claim I would not be reimbursing the insurance company for time lost.
so in conclusion, if she has a problem with the job please contact us and we will correct anything that we did not do correctly..as for reimbursing her for time lost, I'm sorry that that happened but it was out of control and I don't feel we should pay her

I am rejecting this response because:When I arrived at the office and requested a $discount for the delays in service, I was told that Pejey's "might be able to shave off $15," without any acknowledgement of any previous discussion regarding the discount I had requested or any kind of apology or show of concern for the inconvenience I was causedI said no because I wanted to discuss why $wasn't considered and because my bill just happened to be $more than my original estimate.
I was going to allow the issue to drop as it was not worth the time or hassle to attempt to regain my money, but now, the passenger side bumper is popping out of placeI have not been involved in any accidents or done anything that would cause the bumper to pop out of place the way it isI am incredibly disappointedNot only was the customer service below the level any business should strive for, but the job itself was not done correctly
I will be seeking an estimate from another body shop to correctly install or repair the incorrect installation of my bumperIf the bumper needs to be reinstalled, I would like Pejey's to reimburse me for the costs of the re-installation as it has been made clear that I am not welcome to return to their property so that they can fix it themselves.
I believe that this is a reasonable requestIf it is the opinion of the autobody shop that the bumper was installed correctly and it is popping out of place for a reason unrelated to the installation by Pejey's, I will let the matter drop, and will continue to advise all friends and family in the area to use another shop for their repairs.
