Review: We ordered a [redacted] Pool at a cost of 2579.00 that is Beige and they delivered a [redacted] Pool that is GREY that would cost $1799.00-Verified at 3 Pelican Stores - [redacted], [redacted] & [redacted] - And they still have NOT issued the #300.00 Discount Coupon.Desired Settlement: I want the Difference of what was Ordered and what was Delivered and installed and the Coupon and TAX credited back to my Credit Card ASAP.

Review: This charge is for a Pool Purchase on July 8th, 2014. The Merchant was to deliver a [redacted] Pool (Beige) on July 14th, 2014, but instead an [redacted] Pool (Grey) was delivered. Since it was boxed, the color was unknown at this time.

On July 14th the Pool was delivered and placed on a Brown Heavy Duty Tarp in the yard. Upon inspection, ALL labels for Pool stated [redacted]. The salesperson, Paul, was contacted and we were reassured that this was indeed the same pool but under a different name but still a [redacted] Pool. The following day the Pool was installed and at that point was when we realized that the Pool was indeed absolutely not the [redacted] Pool, nor a [redacted] nor Beige, but Grey, but we were unaware just how wrong as Our Pool’s cost was $4300 and beige and the Pool installed was $1700 and grey, the most economical Pool that Pelican sells. Paul was contacted immediately and still was adamant that the Pool received was what was ordered. Paul also refused to give any information with regard to contacting [redacted] stating the company was hard to contact. I was able to find the information and found the all the pertinent documentation to substantiate every allegation and sent all to your company to prove that Pelican performed a Bait and Switch or Fraud. My conversations with Pelican via phone and email continued until Friday morning.

We held up the Deck Installation: We had to Special Order the [redacted] Decking – Saddle - to match the [redacted] Pool (Beige) and pay an additional $10 per board.

We Also held up the Landscaping around the Pool Area for One Month, till August 14th still in anticipation of Pelican uninstalling their Pool and installing Our [redacted] Pool.

Pelican had many chances to switch the Pool to the correct Pool in the first week which would have been the easiest, prior to install when I called 10 minutes after delivery and prior to install of the Deck. But they could have come anytime.

To date, we have had to Buy the Correct Ladder, Pay to Fill the Pool with 11,000 gallons of Water plus, Buy new Filter Hoses and Pump Hoses, Buy Chemicals, Maintain the Pool, Clean Pool, etc..

Their Pool is Squatting on Our Property. This is NOT our Pool, so to state that we USED the pool during this time as a LEGAL reason to rebill us is quite frankly a mockery to this situation.

As of Sept 28th, via Pictures on the Pelican Website that the Pool Ordered was the [redacted], which means they falsified our contract as well naming our Pool the [redacted].Desired Settlement: We would like the uninstall of the [redacted] and install of the Pool we ordered and re-landscaped with no cost to us, or they can credit us the difference for ALL: Pool, Ladder, Hoses, Deck Board $10 per board, and we will live with this.
