Second time we are using Pella because of their high quality products and installation. And because of an exceptional sales person; Jason ***. He knows his products. With both orders, he listened to what we are looking to accomplish worked to meet those objectives. He is a big part of why we came to Pella again. My wife and I would make one request. Reward Jason with a company car!

Pella windows installed were installed October 2017, into my residence. The following conditions are taking place with my windows: three of my windows leak water when ever it snows, two have a breeze and I have plastic covering those windows and heaters in my rooms.

I had Pella come out to install 3 new windows in late March 2017. It was a disaster from the beginning. After the first day install, one window was not properly installed and the sliders did not even close after they were opened. They sent 3 different guys out over the next month and a half to try to figure out what was wrong. 2 guys could not and one guy never even showed up. After continued complaining about a faulty product, they finally agreed to install a new sliders. Except when they came out to do so 4 weeks later, they sent 2 different style sliders that did not match. Then 3 weeks later they finally got it to match, but was still unable to properly shut the slider. Had to wait another 6 weeks, after continued complaints, to finally replace their faulty window.
While all of this was going on, the other window they installed began to leak when the rains came. Other guys, including project manager named Bill, could not figure out what went wrong. Water NEVER leaked before the install, but now leaks every time. Since they could not find where they went wrong on the install, they are refusing to return my calls, (thanks Jessica and Jennifer) come out to solve the issue, or offer any financial refund due to their lack of craftmanship and product install. They are now claiming that it is another issue not related to the window install. I cannot stress enough to not use this company despite their name recognition.

Like others we selected Pella based on name and reputation, along with the free financing. We were replacing a sliding Pella door with a new one. It was expensive, the lock was broke when they installed the door, and it took 1.5 weeks to get a new lock. For the first 1.5 weeks we had a $3700 sliding door with a wooden rod stuck in the inside track to act as a lock. Plus, the guy who finally put a new handle in said the door was hard to lock because the installers and left brackets inside the frame of the door. Worse yet I actually tipped Peter and the other terrible installer. Horrible service from a once good company. We went to Pella direct thinking the installers were Pella employees and would care. They cared as little as the sales guy did once he'd made his sale.

Deplorable customer service! I had this company install 3 doors last year. I selected Pella because I thought they would have the best products and service, and they are an American company. But I found that the products are defective and the service is the worst I have ever experienced. One of the door knobs is defective. It is loose and sometimes we can't get the door open. I called the service department, and the automated system said to send an email instead of waiting on hold. I tried that and immediately received an automated response that the service department would contact me within 5-7 business days. After not receiving a response at the end of 7 days, I called again and waited on hold for about 20 minutes. When I finally talked to someone she said that they were backed up and had not yet opened my email. If they are so backed up with requests for service, they should add staff to keep up with the emails or stop promising to respond within that time frame!! I was able to finally schedule an appointment, and received a call 2 days prior, giving me a "window" of 5 hours: "7 am to noon". At noon, there had been no call or service person, so I again called the service department. After 10 minutes on hold I was told that the person would be here at 12:30!! When "Jim" finally arrived, he was outstanding - the only person at that company who is responsible and cares about the customers. He said that I was his fourth stop and that he still had 2 more to go after me. And we had all been scheduled for 7 am to noon!!! This shows a total disregard for the customers and the service people. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!!
