Pemberley Realty Inc Reviews (2)

Dear [redacted] and [redacted], Thank you for providing your review and feedback. We are a property management company and our fiduciary duty is to our clients, which in this case is the owner of the property for which you applied.  When we receive applications for a rental, we pay a...

fee to a reputable credit company to run the potential tenant's credit. This is not just for their credit score, but for delinquencies and other records that could potentially affect our client.  If a potential tenant has records of delinquency, accounts past due, collections, bad debt, charge off or skip, we turn them down because we don't want these activities affecting to our client in the future.  In your case, all three of you had all of these red flags come up in your credit reports.  Our clients usually feel comfortable with a credit score of 650 or higher because we could all be late sometimes with a payment, but the score reflects an average and provides a more fair overall picture.  We provided your scores as a courtesy, but the reports, which we would gladly provide to you have all the explanations in themselves.  If you don't like the results, you should be contacting the credit Bureau, we are only seeing records that they provide.  A more effective and mature way to deal with this issue at this point is trying to get your credit to good standing instead of fighting with our company.  On another note, It is against the law to record someone without letting them know at the beginning of the call. You can show the recording to anyone you like, there is nothing any of us have said that is not standard practice or explanation that would be different with any other management company. You were harassing our employees for several days after we had explained to you that your applications were denied.  Our employee [redacted], gently tried to go over the process with you and be helpful and you started using abusive language and yelling at her.  At that point, Roxanne, the owner, had to get on the phone with you to protect her employee from constant harassment on [redacted]'s personal cell.  We explained that we are not responsible for what your credit reports pull up. You should go and talk to the bureaus and if there is any information wrong have them fix it.It is not fair for us to be paying for your reports. We do get charged for running your reports and as we said, we are more than happy to provide you with a copy of your credit report for your records, but we cannot eat up the cost for running them.  It is our friendly recommendation that you use these reports to improve your credit scores and standing.  We wish you the best.
