Pembrooke On The Green is one of the largest apartment communities in the city. It also is one of the worst kept. This place is infested with roaches, and I mean roaches not only in the kitchen but coming out of the faucet in the sink, the drain in the bath tub. Roaches in the kitchen cabinets, the stove and getting into the refrigerator. There's roaches in the hallway closets and the bedroom closets, popping up in the carpet. It was embarrassing to have company. It was disgusting for me and my kids. This place even pays someone to come spray and still roaches. There were roaches in the laundry room in the basement. OMG and let's not talk about the RATS...Yes RATS not mice but RATS jumping in and out of the dumpsters, but also inside of the buildings. The manager Lena seems oblivious to the problem and the rest of the staff just don't care. The clubhouse is new and contemporary but the units are infested with roaches and rodents. Someone call the health dept...If I could've given no stars I would have. The staff are rude and unwilling to help you out once you sign your lease. Thanks for nothing...Hopefully we didn't catch anything from living there.

This place is awful...There are roaches and rats running about everywhere. The apartments appear clean and the grounds well kept. But the truth is when the sun goes down this place is a serious medical hazard. The city or the state really should shut this place down. The property manager lena is useless and clueless or she just doesn't care. Most renters have children. This is not a safe place for children. This complex and the manager that runs it should be ashamed for not providing a safe humane place to live for others. I'm sure they aren't living in roach and rat infested housing.
