Review: This website deceptively offers a 19-cent "property value report" without making it clear that the purchaser is signing up for a "membership" charged to the purchaser's credit card at $18.95 per month when he or she orders the 19-cent report. It is not even clear to me what the "membership" includes. I did not understand when I ordered the 19-cent report that I was signing up for an "account" for unknown "services." Nothing in the purchase process for the 19-cent report alerts the purchaser that he or she is signing up for that monthly charge. I ordered the 19-cent report on December 22, 2013. I was overwhelmed that month with work and illness, and did not notice the charge when checking my balance and I did not review my December statement from my credit union. However, I spotted the $18.95 charge when I checked my balance online on January 23, 2014, and immediately called the credit union to contest it. I also emailed "Andy" at PropertyValueLookUp.com and demanded a refund for the January charge. This morning a representative from the credit union called to point out the December charge. I looked at the December statement to confirm, and emailed "Andy" at the website to demand a refund. He said he had already issued a refund. I pointed out there were two charges. He did not respond to that, and I did not get my refund for the December charge. The website's advertising and purchase process is deceptive and fraudulent.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the $18.95 charge to my credit card of $18.95. I also think the website should either be shut down, or forced to clarify that anyone who purchases the 19-cent report is also signing up for a "membership" for which that person will be charged $18.95 per month.

Review: I purchased a home value report from HomeValue.US.Org for $1.00 on July 10, 2013. When I checked my card balance/statement I noticed I was billed $14.95 for the report instead of the $1.00 the website initially stated at the beginning of my purchase. I immediately contacted the Home Value to expressed my dissatisfaction with the unauthorized debit to my card of $14.95 and was advised that my account had been closed and a refund issued. I waited the customery 3-5 business days for the refund to be placed back on my card. When I did not see the refund I contacted my card company and Home Value to try to resolve this issue. Home Value was very insistent that a credit had already been issued, but the card company had no record of the credit. I have ben very patient with Home Value waiting approximately 3 weeks for the refund to be posted to my card. I have not received the refund. I then instructed Home Value to issue my refund in the form of a check, but they are insistent that the refund has already been posted to my card. I never aurhorized Home Value to charge my card for $14.95 for a home value report. That was not part of the online contract. It is now more than 1 month and I have still not gotten my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like to be issue my refund in the form of a check, since the card company has no record of receiving the refund that Home Value is insistent has been issued.

due to unforeseen circumstances with our merchant bank account, the refund was

not correctly processed. In order to

rectify the situation, I will have our accountant draft you a cheque in the

amount of $14.95 and I will mail it directly to the address you have

Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you may have

Review: I requested a VIN report advertised on carhistory.us.org with the advertised price of $1. I have found that my credit card has been charged $9.95 on the following dates - 6/5/2013, 7/5/2013, 8/4/2013/9/2/2013. I did not authorize these charges to my credit card. I am requesting a refund for $39,80 and to put an end to any future charges. I have just found online that many people have been scammed by this organization in the same way.Desired Settlement: Refund credit card for $39,80 and discontinue any further charges.

Review: I paid for a one-time $1.00 purchase for their service "MilitaryRecord.org" in which I was later charged $18.95 on my Visa Card on December 26, 2013 through Wells Fargo Bank. I have contacted this company once in January, 2014 in which I was promised to receive a refund of the payment which was charged to my account. I never received anything. Then I contacted this same company by live chat earlier this month in February, 2014. Again I stated my problem and I requested to receive a refund per mail. I have not received anything since this charge was made on my checking account.Desired Settlement: I want a refund either by email and/or direct mail. That is all I want and I will have no further business contact with this company.

Review: I attempted to order a $1 car report from them in the process started being charged $9.95 a month. I never got the report, Ive checked spam, junk, etc. I called today to question the $9.95 charges and was told I must have done something wrong, and would cancel it so there would be no further charges, but couldnt refund the charge from June. Then they told me to get the report, id have to start all over!Stupidly I go back to the site to start over, and all over the site it says if youre not fully satisfied call to get a refund. I didnt get a report, Ive spent $19.90 and have nothing to show for it. I even only asked for a free report, keep the $9.95 and they told me no.I would like a full refund of the $9.95 from June and July, not just July, since I have no car report.Desired Settlement: full refund of $9.95 from June and $9.95 from July and my car report for the 95 Subaru Legacy you can contact me for VIN if needed.

Review: I ordered a property valuation report from the website that was clearly advertised as costing $1.00. My credit card was charged $18.95 for the report.Desired Settlement: I wish to have a refund credited to my credit card.

Review: While looking online to buy a used car, one site had a link to Carhistory.us.org for a car history report. The priced advertised was less than $5.00 but I was billed $9.95. I then was billed the $9.95 for three months until I discovered it on my visa statement. I called their customer service and the representative told me the reason I was charged every month was because I failed to uncheck an obscure box in the terms an conditions. In addition their car history report was lousy. I had to purchase one from Carfax in order to get the information I needed. Please warn other consumers that this outfit is a RIPOF!Desired Settlement: Refund my card. Fix their website to where if you want a continuing subscription that you check the box. Improve the quality of their reports.

Review: Car history is an online service that will pull car history reports. They advertise doing this for $1.00. The payment page clearly shows that you will be charged $1.00. After payment and receiving report they will continue to charge your credit card $9.95 per month. Customer service will gladly offer to refund the $9.95 and cancel your account with the site; however, they say that you agreed to an installment plan of $9.95 per month for up to 25 reports for a period of time. Asked where to find details about this installment plan, the customer service rep stated, "It is unavailable at this time, but you can visit the order page, http://www.carhistory.us.org/, enter the VIN # and follow the instructions, on the order page you will be able to review the options to opt the installments plan. Using the sample VIN on their homepage I went through the order process all the way to the payment page. No where in this process did I see anything about a $9.9.5 installment plan.Desired Settlement: Would like this company investigated to find out if their service, advertising, and billing and collection is of a legal nature. Also am seeking a $18.90 refund to my credit card.
