Retro Fitness Baymeadows refuses to cancel my membership after a dozen calls, two visits, and writing to their corporate office for assistanceI have been on a month to month contract with them and there is absolutely no reason that they should not have honored my requests that started over two months agoI continue to be charged for a membership that I clearly do not want and continue to ask them for a refund and stop payments
In response to complaint, This member enrolled in an annual membership with Retro Fitness on 3/22/After the initial year all one-year agreements automatically roll over to a month-to-month agreement In March 2016, [redacted] requested to be downgraded from VIP membership to Basic membershipIt allowed her to bring her bill from $29.99/month to $19.99/monthShe also referred her husband to the facility and we gave her a free month for doing so through our Member Referral ProgramUpon the member being downgraded there was a mistake in rewriting the new agreement to change from VIP to BASICDuring the rewrite the monthly membership invoices for April and May were not listed although the chehistory for this member does indicate that they utilized the facility during these monthHowever, it was not apparent that this incident occurred until the member inquired about billing charges for a separate incidentWe greatly value this member and will be moving forward to allow them to receive those two month freeWe aim to serve all of our member to best of our ability despite mistakes that may occur, responsibility is taken and we look forward to helping our member achieve their fitness goals Please let us know if any further action is necessary to rectify the situation at hand Respectfully, [redacted] ** [redacted] ** [redacted] ***
