Review: Penn Del installed a shower in the bath room of our house in August of 2014. It started to leak in a couple weeks. I contacted [redacted] and he stopped by a few times and can't fix the probelm and try to refer another contractor related to him to fix it. Penn Del even charged us addtional $140 for their non-working repair which further damaged the shower door.

We told [redacted] that we prefer to find our own contractor and need him to reimburse us for the repair cost, because Penn Del Plubing was unable to fix it and he agreed with the facts and our suggestion of solutions. Then we paid our contractor in December 2014 to take apart the shower panel. We found wall damage and mold growing due to the leak. The total cost was $700 from the contractor who also offered to be a witness for our case.

They paid us $300 of the $700 agreed upon in February of 2015, but stopped paying us and answering our calls. It's been over a year for this issue, and it caused great stress for my family to live with a leaking shower with mold and wall damage, especially because my daugher is allergic to mold. In July 2015, the cabinet they installed in the bathroom fell off and hurt my father in law's arm. The contractor who charged us $100 for the repair found out that the cabinet was not secured to the wood frame of the wall as it should be. So we'd like your assistance to get at least the reimbursement for the repairment cost of $400 plus the $100 cabinet and wall repair. We are not asking the $140 paid to Penn Del for the non working repair.Desired Settlement: A refund of $500
