We did perform *** on Mr***s Saturn in November As he states, some items were missed, but later corrected as we do stand behind our ***The roof damage (rusty roof seams) was repaired properly and those locations are still in good shapeThe specific locations are shown in original
pre *** photos dated 11/7/2013, #***, Left side between sunroof and driver door; and #***, Right side towards front between passenger front door and roof panel. Mr*** now has rust marks appearing at the front of the roof, near the windshield, not in the same areas we have repairedIt is agreed that to properly repair the current damage the windshield will need to be removedThe disputed rust issue on Mr***s car is either from rock chips (environmental conditions), or a faulty windshield installation prior to Mr***s ownership of the carThis could be determined after glass removal. When repaired originally, there was no rust issues identified at the windshield roof line and therefore did not require removal of the windshield, as the upper windshield molding can be pulled back to spray behind it. We pride ourselves on doing quality repair *** but we cannot be liable for prior *** errors by other parties that are not visible at time of repair, or for environmental conditions. For example, if we fix the rear corner of a truck bed and years later the wheel arch starts to rust out, it has nothing to do with the *** we performed, rather manufacturer issues and environmental conditionsThis is not a warranty issue, rather a separate claim, at a different location, that happens to be a panel that was painted for other reasons.
