I bought a cascade canister filter 1200 canister which has stopped working after 6weeks and died and the motor gave up, I've been waiting for a resolution from Penn plax for 2months now and no response or answer given or help at all, they only want more money for shipping and replacement of there faulty product which is more than the canister is worth, their guarantee is worth nothing they don't honor there guarantee even when it states there liabilities not to mention it doesn't conform to consumer laws, hopeless no customer service and they just brush you aside, but believe me I know some big hitters on YouTube etc and I will be making this well known in the hobby , ignore your responsibilities and rip people off, big mistake !

Review: I purchased a Penn Plax cascade 1200 about 3 months ago. A part of the product went bad very quickly affecting the way the entire system operated. This part I need is only made by Penn Plax and I have not been able to get someone to respond to me. Their phone recording says for faster service email them. I have sent at least 5 emails and phone messages and still nothing. My aquatic animals are now suffering and will have to be moved soon and now I am stuck with a $150 filter that completely useless because of a .50 cent part. All I would like to do is buy this part but the business will not help me and I can't even get information on returning the itemDesired Settlement: I would like to simply purchase about 5 of them so I don't have to keep doing this. Meanwhile my aquatic animals are the ones paying the price and we all know how social media could take this and have a field day with Penn Plax especially when they are affecting animals health because they can't sell me a product. I have never seen a business not want to make a sell.. any feedback with this would be appreciated by me and my aquatic pets.

Review: I purchased two $800 75 gallon aquariums from Penn Plax. Without any provocation one of the aquariums sprang a leak and emptied approximately 95% of the 75 gallons onto my floor. Aquariums are simple construction and should not arbitrarily spring a leak like this. It caused damage to my floor and some of my furniture. When you call Penn Plax you can only leave a recording and they do not return any calls. I believe they are a bad company.Desired Settlement: I would like my aquarium replaced or refunded for the purchase price. Aquariums are simple construction and I cannot believe they can't build them that don't leak
