Dear Ms. [redacted]:This letter is in reference to [redacted]’s complaint #[redacted].Mr. [redacted] contacted me via telephone in December. At that time I was hospitalized.Upon my release from the hospital, Mr. [redacted] had already filed his complaint with the Revdex.com.I called Mr. [redacted] and asked why he had filed...

against me. He said: “I didn’t hear back from you.” I said: “Did you ever think I may have been on vacation or in the hospital?” I then explained that I had, in fact, been in the hospital and was not checking any messages and that’s why I did not respond to his call. I explained that I was willing to come right away to address his concerns. Mr. [redacted] apologized and said: “I’ll call the Revdex.com today, (February 5, 2016), and I will cancel the complaint.” I responded that that would be okay and that I would be at his residence on Monday, February 8, 2016 to check out the problem.Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] did not follow through to cancel this complaint. I went to his residence on Monday, February 8, 2016, as promised, to check out the problem and discovered that the problem had nothing to do with any work I had previously completed. What I did find was that there were cracks and splits in Mr. [redacted]’s old shingles where it caused water to enter the house.Even though, this was not my problem, I repaired the area at my own expense. We’ve had plenty of rain and snow since the 8th of February and Mr. [redacted] has not called me in regard to the original problem or any other problem. As far as I’m concerned the problem has been addressed satisfactorily and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. This should close your file on this matter.Cordially,Ronald P[redacted], Owner PENN ROOFING

Review: Penn Roofing did an estimate on my roof for a leaking area on 6/18/2015. Penn Roofing did the repair on that area based on their own knowledge of the issue. Since that time, the same area began leaking again. Water is emitting from ceiling of bottom floor. I called and left a voicemail stating the issue on 1/12/2016. I have called again today, 2/3/2016, and left another voicemail. This issue must be dealt with. The inside of my house is now suffering excessive damage due to the fact that Ron at Penn Roofing will not answer his phone.Desired Settlement: I would like the problem area to be identified and repaired properly this time. If this is not possible, I would like a full refund due to the fact that the roof is in the same condition now as it was before Penn Roofing attempted a repair.

Refund amount $1485.00.
