Penney's Lawncare

This is my response to *** *** complaint- mid may of *** called me and asked for a quote for a spring cleanup- I met with her I believe the next day- we talked about what she was looking to get done- she wanted the front yard cleaned up only- the size of it was about 60'x120' or so-
along the road was tons of sand from the town trucks from sanding throughout the winter- she had I believe or large boulders set back from the road spaced out evenly from her driveway to the wood line- the sand was on the lawn a few feet past the rocks and I told her we would remove the sand from the lawn to the rocks-I also told her if she wanted all the sand removed to the road it would be a lot more money due to the fact I would have to bring in my bobcat with the bucket and that's pricey -the cleanup job was for total- I figured guys about mins- which normally would be over 100.00- I told her since shes a new customer payment was due upon completion and she said that's fine- we showed up a few days later to do the job because we finished a nearby job early and wanted to keeping working at mu long list of cleanups- myself and one other guy who has been with me since performed the job- im good at what I do and very fast at it!! we did what *** and I agreed on along with us removing a entire winters worth of dog st from her small front lawn- took about min maybe 50- my guy was loading up our equipment while I knocked on her door to get a check- she came out and said it was great- then asked if we could clean up the other side of the driveway too- which was about 60'x15' not a big deal if we started on that side to begin with- the wind was with us that day so it makes it easier for us and quicker- however we didn't want to blow that new area she added on all across her driveway and the entire front lawn again so we blow it the other way and made piles and I just hauled them off instead of carring them to the woods- took us another mins- not a big deal- I went back to her door and asked for payment- then she says oh my husband has the check book I cant pay you- I was pissed- reason I asked for payment on new customers is for this reason!!- isn't nothing- but that's not the point- I hate people like her who use other people and/or services- anyway she said she would mail it- so we left- weeks goes by after I had called maybe twice- the last time I called her husband answered it- he asked why haven't I come back to finish the cleanup- he wanted the sand removed I guess- I learned from past and present relationships communication is very important - mr and mrs *** did not have this apparently because she hired me for the work I did already- nothing more- needless to say hes getting mad and im asking where my payment etc- I told him I would be dropping off worth of debri in his driveway for none payment- he did not like that- I pretty much no they will never call me again- which is fine cause I would never work for them again after lying and getting the run around- so words were exchanged from both parties- some I cant write on here-lol at the end of it I guess we both threatened each other in one way or another- his words were I picked the wrong old man ** *** with - I did get paid from the original quote that *** and I agreed on- along with a nasty memo directly on the check that I thought was very nice lmao - if and who ever reads this- keep in mind people- there are scammers everywhere out there- I learned another lesson along with a few others in all my years in business- u cant please everyone- and in some cases, people like the ***'s nothing you do will work frankly cause their out for freebees and will *** and complain until they get what you want-
