Purchased a used 2011 F150.
Mistakenly, I took the vehicle out of state as a gift for my son. On the drive back, part of the exhaust system fell off. A couple of months later, went to use the 4-wheel drive...wouldn't work. THEN, the engine failed. All this after 5 months of ownership and less then 4,000 miles. Total cost $12,000 in repairs. I contact Pennington... Nothing, Crickets...

June 3rd Mr*** purchased a Ford F-from Pennington Ford. Since the vehicle has been in their possession it has developed an issue according to the vehicle owner. Warranty has been cancelled by customer at their request but Pennington Ford would be willing to help to a
degree. We would like to see a detailed and itemized list of the estimate from the diesel repair facility

01/04/18 The mediator left a VM message for the CONS.01/11/18 The mediator left a VM message for the CONS relaying the information that I received from the dealership.  The dealer has issued a refund of $2,635.00 for the extended warranty, $795.00 for the Gap protection, and $685.00 for the tire and wheel protection.  The windshield protection is not refundable because this is a coating that is permanently applied to the windshield and cannot be removed.  The dealership has copies of the refund checks that were sent to the lien holder on record, and the refunds will reduce the principal balance due on the CONS auto loan.

Pennington Ford has cancelled all products that are eligible for cancellation.  Not all products purchased can be cancelled to receive a refund.  Customer made the decision to finance the vehicle with a lender we provide.  At any point and time he/she could have refinanced it with a...

bank of their choice.

01/04/18 The mediator attempted to reach the finance manager, [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] was not in the office.01/11/18 (The mediator attempted to reach [redacted], the finance manager, but he was not in the office.  Instead, the mediator spoke to [redacted], the sales manager.) I have personally worked with this CONS.  He requested, and we processed all paperwork required to cancel the extended warranty ($2,635.00) and the gap insurance ($795.00).  The windshield protection ($685.00) cannot be cancelled because this is a product that is permanently applied to the windshield.  I am not sure whether or not the tire and wheel protection ($685.00) can be cancelled.  I will call you back in 10 minutes with further details.01/11/18 (The mediator received a call back from [redacted].)  I have looked through our records and discovered that three of the four products that the CONS purchased have been cancelled.  The only thing that has not been cancelled is the windshield protection for the reasons that I described during our last call.  I have copies of the checks that were sent to the lien holder and these refunds will reduce the principal balance due on the CONS'  auto loan.

I was refunded $670 (attached image from bank) but the warranty I purchased and the GAP paid by me were ($2635.00 + $795.00) which I have also attached. Until they refund these amounts I cannot get financing from my institution. [redacted] of Pennington Ford told me the only coverage I was unable to cancel was my "[redacted]" (paid $685.00) and the "Tire +Wheel Protect" (paid $685.00).
